I still think surrender is the best option because this is a special situation not likely to repeat itself and the player is likely to lose this hand if he doesn't surrender.
I used 17 stiffs to 48 total cards per cycle for TC +3. The math was easy it took less than a minute. I did forget about the dealer peeked for BJ the first time so that run had 52 total cards per cycle. I negated any effect of cards in the hand as they should be already included in the TC. Also I play shoe games so they could be considered insignificant compare to the error factor in an integer TC determination. Again the dealer busts 35.4% of the time.

Lets put it this way, if you knew the next possible dealer card was a 5 instead of 10, you would surrender if surrender only payed you back 1% :grin:
