Still haven't heard any factual info from someone who's played the game. Appears to have similar rules to Firekeepers but we'll see.
From what I heard Fri night they were still packed to the hilt and mins were still $25 on 6d shoes.

An update on Gun Lake VP. Don't bother! Not only are there no 9/6 Jacks or Better available, the best odds you can get are 8/5 and are only available on $1 a hand or higher machines. Quarter machines are 7/5 and lower denominations are 6/5. Unfortunately people don't seem to understand anything about the odds and, at least when I was there, where swarming these machines to lose their money. Blackjack can be playable at non-peek hours, but barely.

They have a small window to rip off the customer as casinos nearby have fine BJ, single 0 Roulette, nice poker rooms and hotels, restaurants and, 9/6 VP at .25 with progressives, in abundance.

If you look really hard you can find a 9/6 now. But everything else is completely abysmal.
Does anyone know what kind of heat there is in BJ, I stopped by about a month ago and the games were terrible best being a 6D H17, and I think there was a notch to cut off 2decks not sure. I don't remember if you could enter midshoe either (besides the fact every table was packed even at 2am)

9/6? Where is it located and what denomination?
The notch is about 1 1/2 decks, possibly slightly less.
I couldn't find any 9/6 machines today.

It's at the "HI LIMIT" pit - which for them is just the $1 multi-line machines in the middle of the casino close to the table games.
There's like 6 banks and only one has 9/6 the rest are 9/5.

The bj rules suck and when they change decks they do NOT fan out the cards on the table they open the decks and the dealer and floorperson sit there and count out the cards and there's no way to to tell the actual contents which is unsettling...

Oh and they expose OCP mucked hands too. Which is bad for some obvious reasons but also it takes... FOREVER.

Was driving past it a bit ago and decided to stop in. Was PACKED, every table was filled to the brim $25min, $50min. Like so packed couldn't even move through open areas. Rules still suck, everything sucks there. I've never been to a casino where the restaurants cost MORE than normal.

Just bitter, haha. Played maybe 8 hands and lost every one (first card an ace on 6 of them too!).

I guess you never played and ate in casinos on the east coast. The food certainly isn't less expensive than elsewhere. It never has been so far as I can remember (30 years).

The only decent place to eat there is at Tim Horton's. That alone speaks volumes. I take it your last visit was on a weekend, perhaps Veterans Day? I say that because usually they'll have 6 or 8 $25 tables that sit there with nobody playing on them for hours on end during the week. They think it's better to get a few suckers to waste their money at a $25 game then to get 100 or so players playing at a $10 table. Also, their dealers are so terrible they don't want them handling a lot of money, trying to add up hands and/or figure out payouts. They'd rather have them stand around staring into space.
