I've started using Halves about three to four weeks ago and obviously read Wong's Professional Blackjack. So far, the addition and subtraction of the card values have proven to be somewhat difficult, and this is fairly obvious due to its level of complexity. However, this has not frightened me in any way. I know that with enough practice, the system will become automatic. Once I am actually ready for my first session, which is still not going to be for a while, I'd like to know how to get the best performance out of the session BR I'm going to have, my betting ramp, and the RoR I play with. If anyone could help, I'd like to know an optimal bet ramp (to minimize RoR) and the RoR I play with for playing a $1,000 session and a $2,000 session where I wong-in at a TC>=+1 and wong-out at a TC<+1.

Sidenote: For anyone that's wondering why I'm using Halves, there are ONLY shoe games in my area, and I want to attain the biggest advantage I can!
Any help is appreciated.
