If you get a 6D shoe that goes very negative for one or two shoes would that shoe also have a better chance of going very positive because of the makeup of the cards?

Basically, the answer to this question is: NO. It MIGHT go positive, it might stay negative, it might be neutral. But what happened the previous shoe or shoes will have no bearing on the next shoe.

Now if you were to put the cut card into the hands of a skilled shuffle-tracker, and depending upon the house shuffle; then the answer could very well be yes - and very much so!

Sucker didn't say they would always cut the high cards right to the top but your point is right on.

I would ALWAYS recommend cutting the high cards to the front, and that was MY point. You get to start off with a positive shoe. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough. And even more sorry that I've gotten us sidetracked by changing the subject of the OP.
