if i start playing in ac yes with those horrible H17 and no LS and probably earning less min wage jobs w/ 1-12 spread has anyone ever been banned from ballys or caesars? i used to go alot a few times weekday but mostly weekend but never ever witness anyone banned from a casino so anyone know the average life span of a counter in ac w/ 1-12 spread? 2 days? 2 weeks? 2 years? any reply would be grateful ty'

i get very confused with barring/banning when reading zen kings reports on how planet hollywood just takes his action along with his bankroll do all stores have heat?

I don't play in AC. But in PA, when a known AP sit down, the penetration for the next shoe drops from 5/6 to 3.2/6. I know I am not the target. But if I leave immediately, I am telling the casino I am a counter, too.

Try the Hard Rock. It's 6 deck S17, late surrender at $25 minimums with decent pen. Lesser minimums are H17.

Don't count on it (no pun intended!). They'll half shoe the table until you leave that table which, as bjGenius said should not be right away, but will not be long.

Sure, with a very large spread. Never forget however, that the bigger the spread, the bigger your bankroll must be. I'm pretty sure you've written before that you have CVCX. It will give you the answers you need.

Also, while they can't ban you for being skilled, don't give them any other excuse to ban you. For example, by claiming you're being disruptive or offensive.

How about a spread of 1:1 when they flat bet you at table minimum? Or a spread of $5 to $50 when they bet restrict you at the $25 table? How about when they shuffle every time you raise your bet? There are a lot of countermeasures they can use. A friend of mine got flyered. The first casino he went to bet restricted him at $5 to $50. The next casino shuffled up on him when he raised his bet. The third casino flat bet him at table minimum. But no casino put the cut card at half shoe. That is an option though. they have many ways to make the game not worth your time.

The 1:10 isn't from table minimum. It is $5 to $50. My friend was at a table with at least a $200 minimum and was flat bet at table min. They could have bet restricted him to $5 to $50 at that table. They always use the $5 to $50 placard. often they just flash it at you when they see you walking the casino floor. My partner years back was told they wouldn't pick up his comp if he played any more BJ. I warned him he can't just win $5K every time he had a bad run at craps. He didn't listen. Latter he said he didn't care about being backed of because he didn't have much time before life backed him off the planet. I took him all over the region so he could crush games with the reckless abandon of the slash and burn player. He was right about the time he had left. The backoffs where pretty meaningless. Surprisingly his senile old man act was so good he didn't get many backoffs. He would dose off at the table and never look at any cards until after he played his hand. But he bet what I called black towers when the count got good enough. Probably $2K to $3K in chips. He would "sleep" through the worst counts. It was pretty funny to watch. I never put much stock in act, but this act was truly effective. He would spread 30:1 in black and get away with it. Well most of the time.

It also sounds like something that if a player challenged in court, he/she could win. I mean how can they force you to bet more than you want....more than the posted table minimum?

BUT, it would be one of those situations, where if you won, what is it you have won? I mean if your play falls outside of their comfort/tolerance level, they aren't going to let you play. One way or another they will find a way to stop you.

It has been 9 years since I wore out my welcome in AC, so perhaps things have changed although it doesn't sound like it. At that time, AC casinos just weren't going to let anyone playing more than red to light green (max bet of under $100) play for long, if you played regularly. At that time, the tool used to send the message was the $5-$50 placard that only applied to only one player (you) mixed in with some not so subtle half-shoeing. It didn't take me long to receive that message. That is when I decided I had to find not only a new location (home base), but a new path forward....a new plan of attack.

i do have cvcx and when i look at RoR vs what im earning per hour makes me not want try at all 10$ an hour and put at risk 10k? yeesh! is what comes to mind

You might have meant this jokingly, but I agree with you. Even though I haven’t agreed with everything KJ says, I’ve learned a lot from him and think he has an interesting story. And he has a good writing style.

If KJ ever decides to write a book, I would definitely buy and read it. Probably don’t need an autograph copy though.
