How large a BR do I need to justify flying out to Vegas?

I just meant that maybe, in the same game, if playing-all and spreading 1-12 maybe you hit max bet at TC+3. Maybe that means $5-$60 with a $10K roll, a 2000 unit roll.

But if back-counting and never playing a hand less than TC+2 and spreading 1-4, maybe your max bet occurs at TC+7. Maybe that means $75-$300 with a $10K roll, a 133 unit roll.

If choosing to flat-bet and never play a hand less than TC +3, then obviously max bet is always the same at TC+3 or more. Maybe that means $150 with a $10K roll, a 66 unit roll.

Maybe all of the above is playing same $10K roll at same ROR.

The frequencies of the TC's never change, after all, given the whatever assumptions of the sim - pen, rules, count system, use of indexes or not, how TC's are calculated, cover betting, how win rate per hour may change heads-up or at a full table, etc. Neither does the adv % change at each TC given all those assumptions of the sim. Neither does the variance at each of those TC's.

The game is the same. How you bet it changes everything.

Oh, thanks I understand, good luck for future :)

Road Trip!!!

$1500 plus expenses. I have a better idea. How much time do you have?

Drive across the country instead. I know gas is expensive, and I'll be back to post a trip calculator.

Starting off in New York you'll drive to Indiana camp out at a state park near a casino. They have good games and you can search them out online before you leave.

After taking several 100 from either casino you choose, you'll then drive to Joliet, Illinois and visit Harrah's and Empress. Again good games. Once you have grabbed a stack you'll drive to Utica, Ill., Exit 89 on I80 and head for Starved Rock State Park to camp out. Spend the next day hiking the canyons checking out the different 18 waterfalls.

From there you can drive south on I39 and catch a route to St. Louis where Missouri will accommodate you with casinos. I have no info on those games.

You most like have a larger stack of money by this point even if it's just gas money and you don't want to miss Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and Independence Pass between Leadville and Aspen. I suggest starting in Aspen to get the crap traffic out of the way early. Colorado has blackjack, but they a 1 dollar tables with a 5 dollar max bet.

From there you'll continue south through Utah stopping along the way to check out the sites crossing into AZ, and then Las Vegas where you'll need a couple days rest to get into physical shape to start gambling.

With any hope, you'll have a great American Vacation for free and maybe even a few 1000 dollars more in your pocket.

This sounds like an awesome plan for a BJnfo summer road trip. We should set a date to meet in Indiana, and get as many players to do the whole circuit as possible. Hell, you could rent a car for like $200 a week, and not put the mileage on your vehicle.

Yes. The car I rented in Colorado last week was only $151.40 per week with tax. Unfortunately I took the OPTIONAL full coverage insurance and ended up paying $291.83. I went through Enterprise.

It sounds like a possible plan, but having 3 or four people at the same table leads to issues, like some winning and some losing, hurt feelings and other luggage.

Maybe I'll spread the love around and take in a few Indiana tables and get a look at the games. 25-5000 is a great spread if you have the balls to toss out $5000 on a high count. I don't think I've ever bet more than 500 on any hand, and for sure there was not a DD opportunity.

I also need time to work on my game. Mainly to win more money. In 3 weeks I spent over $7000.00 in cash on a car, two trips, paying off a credit card and paying back my mom for 5 years of support and a Christmas trip to Yellowstone. The trip was a gift, but she deserves more than she's going to get.

WV Comps - Horrible (Just for a little humor)

During the last two weeks I played 11 days (Two four hr. sessions daily) I gave them in excess of $100,000 in action and to my surprise when I checked my points I received $11.00. I stayed over two nights and had to pay $59 and $49 for the rooms. Actual winning were $2,300. I rat-holed approx. $200 green daily. Casino computed my win at $400. I spoke to a Casino Host this morning to no avail. I handed her my card and basically told her to shove it up her A**.

I was pissed and had $600 in my pocket going to car. I then said, piss on it and decided to play the $600 in High Roller room. (Min. $50 good 6D game.) Played one shoe head to head without card and lost two hands increasing pocket money too $1,800.

I live less than an hour from Casino and only check card points when I want to stay overnight. In addition they are now cutting 2+ decks from 8D shoe and dealers were told not to show "Burn Card." Wheeling Island also cuts 2 to 2 1/2 decks. Both locations now unplayable. Booked a comp'd R&B room at Seneca Niagara next week (Mon-Thurs)

Post not related to previous but I just wanted to lay a dime on these bastards.

Can you really, say, get comped a room at the Bellagio for 4-6 hours of green play a night? Or could you really get away with ratholing greens at the Tropicana?
No and yes.

Bellagio is so filled with high rollers that even black chip players are treated like they don't exist when it comes to comps. However, I have noted that if you don't get comped when you stay there, sister MGM properties will send you offers (check the Players Club website). I have had three three night stays gratis at the MGM Grand this year based on my play at other MGM properties, including the Bellagio.

On the other hand, the Trop is an absolute dump. Even if I had a free room there I would probably pay to stay elsewhere.

Lesson learned Grasshopper. Comps are based on your average bet/hour and you need to play at least 4 hours between 12 a.m. and 12 midnight(24 hour period). Blackjack comps are tighter then other table games or slots because it is beatable and less profitable to the casino. Slots always win, period. A 2 hour session cut your theoretical in half. Most casinos won't even rate you if your base bet is below $25.00. Remember, comps are nice but as Jerry Maguire said, "show me da money".

Many places don't even let you earn "points" on table games, because they're reserved for machine play. And if they do let you earn points... it often doesn't matter.
