Is a 1 to 4 Spread OK for this DD game?

I'm not sure what "team play" you are thinking of. I don't think pooling my bank roll w/people I don't know is a wise thing to do. Plus I don't want to learn a different count (I'm good with Zen) nor do I want to play the 6 deck games because the DD games are so much easier with better rules. There's no mid shoe entry allowed in DD so need to signal the big bettor in. I could show you my cards if you play with me but that's so easy in DD, if you are friendly and just ask people to show you their cards and they do it. I even ask the dealer for new shuffle if a shoe is beating me up too much and they do it.

But I'm happy to bet your chips for you on these great DD games and spread 1 to 10 (I've been spreading 1 to 4 because I can't handle the volatility with my BR yet) if you think you will be backed off for doing so. I know I probably wouldn't for the reasons you mention. I've had players at my table give me their chips to bet for them before when they see I'm on a "lucky" streak. It's clear at this point that we're talking about Barona. Did they really take out their amazing single deck game? Single Deck, 3:2, $100-$10,000 max, H17, DOA, DAS, late surrender? I haven't been there since February but won a ton the last time I played on it. I wouldn't go back if they don't have it anymore.

Yep. Gone. Played it once with the intention of going back and taking more. I didn't kill the game (won a few units) but it was a great game. I emailed them and told them I would never be back - the same games cam be found closer. I hear their DD deals pretty deep, but it is so far out there for me it isn't worth it.
