maybe thats your favorite drink or maybe its not but do you think its a dead giveaway to acting like you count.after all its just a drink.

i think if you order it from the waitress in a normal manner, no one else will know what you are drinking anyway. how bout just club soda with a lime? thats a more normal drink anyway.

Some casinos distinguish an alcoholic beverage from not by the color or type of stirrer they put in the glass, so those in the know will know.

If that is part of your drunken act it may set an alarm off but it's not really needed. Telling a waitress within earshot that you have to slow down just give me a tonic and a water sends a message you are already pretty loaded.

This thread seems a little silly. Nobody in the casino is going to really care what you drink. This is not the movies and there is no need for such paranoia. The only worry about ordering drinks is what you can handle. If you can function with an alcoholic drink, have one, if you can't don't. Thats about all you need to worry about. Just make sure you figure that out before you hit the casino.

Club Soda

Before I go to a table, I order from a bar a club soda with a slice of lemon in a large sinfter. It appears as though it's a vodka.

I usually get a seltzer (in Vegas, you have to ask for "soda water" or they look at you like you have 2 heads) because that's just what I like to drink.

I stay away from any real cocktails because I don't even want a slight impairment.

An occasional lite beer is good since beer hardly affects me.

I think if you go out of your way to "pretend" you are drinking and "act" intoxicated, you will eventually be noticed.

Could always ask for Diet Coke with lime but usually soft drinks come in taller glasses or like was said with different straws.

I read somewhere that someone's strategy was to order a beer and then step away with it after a few sips. Order a O'Douls at the bar and take both into the bathroom with you. Pour out the beer and pour the O'Douls into the glass, then return to the table. Repeat as needed.

I have NEVER had a drink in my life, and have had no heat or problem in any casino.

Some Native American Casinos I play at don't serve booze at all.
