Has anyone gone through the anticipation and long wait at the casino bj table for that high positive count, increasing their bet spread .ready for those high cards to be dealt only to be let down.Quite often I am dealt a 10 followed by a 2 through 6 on a high plus true count.,to the dealer's 10.

I know full well that if I draw another card it would be a 10 but if I didn't the dealer would end with another10.[Damned if you do,damned if you don't]].

If this happens quite often ,is it time to leave the table. What's the answer?

that also happens alot to me when i practice. i would say about 75% of the time the dealer busts. but then again i can pratice with a new deck and lose 75% of the time too. i guess thats where luck comes into play.

How come all your threads are named John?

Yes, the situation you describe is disappointing, annoying, expensive, and happens far too often. You're fully expecting 20s and BJs, and you still get the 15s and 16s. You just have to continue to play BS, or the deviations appropriate to the count. And hope that whoever came up with the deviations knew what they were doing!

Changing tables because of an obnoxious dealer or players, or because of music that has gotten too loud might be useful. Changing tables because of the cards makes little sense.
