KO basic strategy calls for splitting 9's v 2. So does this mean you stand on this play when you reach the pivot ?

i don't use KO, but the idea is extendable to any count system. as the count goes up, you WANT to split more with 9,9s, as this is an offensive type of split. so on the contrary, when you reach the pivot point for 9,9 vs 2 you should definitely be splitting those pair of 9's...
Where'd that come from?
I can't imagine that BS would change simply because of which count you're using.
Seems to me at a high count you'd be even more likely to get a T or an A to go with your 9, so why would you?

BS does not change based on your counting sysem, it changes based on the rules of the gaem you are playing (# decks, DAS, DOA, Sur, etc). If I recall correctly, the KO book presented some type of blended basic strategy which is not 100% precise for any specific game.
Still, splitting 9v2 should definitely be done when you reach the KO pivot point...

Yes, thats what I am saying. Basic chart says split. So, when you hit your pivot, does this mean to stand on 9-9 v 2, as this is in category A.
