Limited casinos

I am new to counting and have only played once so far in AC. Frequently Im told that playing there isn't worth it and I was wondering how much playing in AC conditions cuts into your wins. More than that though there are a limited number of casinos in PA, about 6 or 7 that are close enough for the trips to be reasonable. I was wondering, wanting to rack up as many hours as possible, if it is dangerous to play at the same casino every week for a few hours. Is twice a week even reasonable if Im not playing rated? Also keep in mind that I have a modest spread and play at the red chip level.

There are better games and lower limits to be found in Pa. Playing odd hours in AC can find lower limits. Playing a small bankroll a good game with low limits is your primary concern. Variance is your enemy so a counting system with BOTH a high BC and PE is very important. Ace neutral with an ace side count fit this description perfectly.

If you can wong in or out without attention(much easier to do with a small bet spread squeezed against the low limit of a low limit table) do it. If you restrict your play to advantage situations and slight disadvantage situations that have a good chance to swing positive for a while your modest spread more power. Make sure your session BR is sufficient for your visit . The smaller it is the more wonging you have to do.

Playing with to small a BR can make you a very likely loser even with a big advantage

if you have 6 or 7 local casinos and you rotate between them regularly, and you visit a different casino every day, then it would be 7 days between visits.

Spreading modestly at 1-8 at the red chip level, i all but guarantee you that you will fly under the radar.

id say that spreading 1-15 at the red chip level is the minimum action that you'd start to see some heat if you're not visiting the same place more than 2x a week. Just a guesstimate based on my own heat though.

East coast casinos, with few exceptions, do not sweat red chip players;
unless they set up shop and treat the casino as their place of business.

As your maximum bet is < $100 the only way that you will be on
the receiving end of heat is if you play too much. How much is too much?

If you play several days a week, you would want to keep sessions < 4 hrs.

No more than 8 to 10 hrs weekly in any one casino / shift feels right.

Rotate casinos ~ and ~ shifts. Be a moving target.

If you play once a week, you can play all day/night.

In your experience, do you think this also applies to casinos in Vegas? Just curious and dreaming…if you play 2D, $25 minimum, spreading 1-6, and you have seven casinos on your list, can you play eight-hour sessions at each casino on each day of the week and not worry about heat? How about 6D, $25 minimum, spreading 1-10?

Also, there are three local casinos where I live. If the idea is longevity and to slowly milk them, how often (days per week and hours per session) should I play if the games are 2D, $25 minimum, spreading 1-6 and 6D, $25 minimum, spreading 1-10? Thank you.

Resorts in AC started to sweat my red chip 20 unit bet, with split and double that I won. When I was losing big earlier though they didn't care ;)

I play at some casinos in the East 3 times a week, 20+ hrs at red chip. No heat. I spread up to 20+. Once a pit boss was looking directly at my hand because I got mis-payed on a original 6 unit bet. Jacked it up to a 24 unit bet right in front of his face. Hiding in plain site ;)

But my cover might be better than most, so.

Each casino has three shifts, so you could play it three times a week without running into the same crew. At worst, you can be sure the staff at noon won't be there at midnite.

Caveat

Remember that Surveillance will change shifts at odd times,
perhaps most commonly, two hrs. before the regular dealer's
shift changes and one hour before the Pit changes its crews.
