Remember the TV show, The Mole?
Who is the Mole?
We likely have quite a few, however, I am guessing that most moles prefer to be either invisible, or very laid back, reading and compiling what they see here. Still, if it were you or I, we would probably be plying everyone very subtly for more information regarding our own stores. But maybe that's more a trait of an active counter than a counter catcher. Your guess is as good as mine. There are many here on the Forum that I have come to trust as if I knew them personally in real life, which may be a mistake, but the more a person talks, the more they reveal themselves. It's the quiet ones I don't trust, and the ones who say the wrong things.

Wrong! It's a lot more than that!

6.02214x1023 is only 6160.65.

Being there are non-AP blackjack players here it would be possible, even logical for a casino marketing person to introduce himself and make offers with no nefarious intent.

Even in the case of AP's, being a casino host theoretically doesn't know anything about AP he or she might get credit just for getting us to their casino and having us give our action. What the pit and surveillance thinks of us isn't their problem.

I haven't had much experience with hosts, but I'm sure there's some friendly hosts out there who'll even help you out if they know you're an AP. Give you advice on how to get a better rating or hide your wins. It's not like they're being charitable in doing so either. If you get a better rating and show bigger losses the host gets more credit for the play. Like most people, the host doesn't give a crap what you're doing in there, they only care about their paycheck from bringing people in.

I never heard of hosts getting in trouble because one of their players got nailed counting cards or something. The most that happens is they'll call up the host and tell them not to give this guy anymore comps.

Exactly right.

One thing I can almost guarantee is if a host comps you anything, they're not going to be telling management to do a skills check on this guy. (Think about that for a second.. "I just comped this guy a room, but I think he's up to no good")

If a host thinks you're actually going to be bad news or something, they just won't deal with you period.

The mole is a unit of measurement used in chemistry to express amounts of a chemical substance, equal to about 6.02214×1023 (SIC) molecules of that substance. It is one of the base units in the
International System of Units, and has the unit symbol mol WIKIPEDIA

I didn't type it, I cut and pasted it and that is how it came out. Apparently, cut and paste cannot recognize superscripts. lol
