I'm playing BET365 now (doing ok at $444 bank on $200 dep), but I'm unsure about which game is best to play for my WR.

I'm playing normal Balckjack (single player, single hand) right now. Also, should I take insurance, and under what circumstances etc? I'm not taking it at all right now.

Aussie I'm very disappointed in you. You are still obviously a young lad ;)

NEVER take insurance.

You can calculate the odds for each game on this site. If I remember correctly the blackjack pro game offers the best odds according to the simulator, 2nd best was late surrender. The difference was slight so I just played the surrender since I have that BS memorized already. The other one is single deck, no DAS, double on 10,11 only, and dealer hits soft 17. Someone else on the board said BJ switch has even better odds but I don't know how to play that game properly.

I'm not taking insurance, and never have, I was just making sure.

I'm playing the surrender game now, and carrying a nice little profit($44) at $1600 bet of $4000 WR.

Does Bet365 have the invite a friend thing like on casino-on-net? If so, you can send me an invitation because I might sign up soon. Is it 20x bonus bet requirement like casino-on-net?

Lethal - Yes it's the same. You can read the terms and conditions to find out.

Neemo - Yes, switch has slightly better odds and less variance, but I've found that for the time it takes to memorize the new basic strategy (hitting 13 and 14 against a 2, hitting certain hands you would normally double...) and to know when to actually switch the cards, it may not be worth it. I learned the strategies, spent a lot of time practicing and can do it all pretty quickly and I think I still prefer to play regular BJ.

Thats why I didn't recommend Aussie play switch. I said it had better odds than either surrender or the single deck game but sometimes its easier to just play something you know, which for me was the surrender game.

Here is your expected loss for each game: surrender has approximate edge of -0.5%, pro -0.4% and switch -0.2% all with $4000 WR. Surrender you lose $20, pro $16, switch $8. Basically it just depends on which game you'd rather play.

P.S. I don't know the edge for the switch game myself, I just remember someone else saying its -0.2% so don't quote me on it.
