playing free table play coupon

It's important to be careful in these discussions of the exact kind of coupon in play. For your described "free bet", do they take the coupon away after any decision win or lose? The Grosjean article goes into a ton of detail about these.

If they do remove the coupon after any decision, Sonny's advice at straight up numbers on roulette is the best. If you must use it on an even money bet, consult Grosjean on how to use it for the back bet at 3-card poker. If you can't do that, baccarat is a reasonable choice but contrary to other advice given, tie is the best bet (if allowed), then PLAYER, then banker. That's right, the best coupon bet at baccarat is normally the worst bet. Coupons turn the whole process on its head.

If the $75 free bet can continue to be played until it is lost, ignore everything I just said and treat it essentially like cash.

The fine print says its played until it wins or loses, not surrendered upon a push. Doesn't say anything about even-money or not.

Ok, I understand the reason a single number at roulette is the best bet because of the high payoff but would you really put it on one number? I guess if you didn't really care about $150 but that still means something to me.

Hedge the bet? Interesting but I don't need $35 quite that bad. Good idea if one does though.

At this point still planning to go with banker bet at bacarrat.

Thanks for all the replies. Todays the day so I'll post the results later.

Ok so I decided to play it at the craps table. The bacarrat table was 100 min and craps wasn't crowded.

They gave me 3 $25 house chips. I played one on Don't Pass and won. Then put down 2 on Don't Pass, shot the dice and threw my own 7. Crap. Well, got $25 out of it anyway.
