There are counting systems that do exactly THAT. The Revere Advanced Point Count for multiple decks comes to mind.

The answer is.....much more. I have no experience with revere APC. but from what I can tell of the tag values, it doesn't differentiate between tens and aces. so if your TC is +3, is it +3 in aces or tens? or maybe both? you have the advantage, but what kind of advantage is it? is it a slightly better chance of busting the dealer, or is it a slightly better chance of catching an ace? This is one of reasons for developing the ace tracking method.

if you could say with 100% certainty you were going to get an ace on your next hand, what would you bet? or
if you could say with 100% certainty that there are 2 extra aces in the next 52 cards, but didn't know exactly when those 2 extra, or even those 6 total aces were coming....well, you get the picture.
Perhaps this bit of trivia will help to put things in perspective:
If you know for a fact that there is an extra ace SOMEWHERE within the next 16 cards, and if you're playing at a full table with 7 spots (eight players, counting the dealer); ALL SEVEN players at the table will be playing that hand at about a 2% advantage (providing that they play correct BS, of course).

That makes sense. I guess there is no software to simulate the effect of ace sequencing, right?
I do not pretend to know alot about this technique, but it sounds like the player needs to remember some key cards to predict the coming ace. Isn't it possible that those key cards will be moved farther away from the ace or even fall behind the ace due to shuffling?

How many aces do you track/sequence?
duck ... that depends on the shuffle, how many sequences you could remember and how many aces you hit and how many decks are played.
My statistics say that I hit 2 more aces as usual, not every 13th upcard
but every 4.3 upcard, that's an advantage of about 8%.
In a 6 decks game. At a certain casino.
The advantage of counting aces maybe 0.5% ? am not sure.

I assume you achieve that greater frequency of aces by spreading to two or more hands when you believe an ace is coming?
Depends of the riffle, if that happens, don't bet with 1 key.
Theese kinds of riffles mosttimes not sequencable.
At the 1-2-6 it happens more often, then don't bet too.:joker:
