Not honoring your checks isn't so bad, you could just give them to friend to cash in later at the casino. As far as getting roughed up, It's going to take multiple hits on the same casino after you've been told not to play there anymore. I've only been at this 6-8 weeks, I'm up 28K ( i've posted my hot start in other threads) I've been backed off in 2 casino's so far, both Vegas strip, I don't plan on playing there for a long time, there are alot of other casino's to play at before I need to go back.
I know I've had a lucky start, veterans have said that I've experienced some unreal variance, but I do bet alot more than the avg. card counter so maybe being a little lucky while never playing less than $25 is the reason. My smallest bet has been $25, my largest bet has been $900 on 2 spots. When I bet $900.00 it was too large of a bet, but I won both bets on a plus count of 12, I didn't get backed off there but was close, I colored up and left like I was just an impulse better who was gambling.
I have some experience with Indian Casinos, as far as knowledge of them and their what another poster said " backwoods laws". Do not piss off the Indians in the Midwest, esp. upper midwest, their not afraid to take matters in their own hands. 15 years ago I seen a friend of mine thrown around in a back room by 3 security guards for writing a check on a dead acct. I had no idea he did it, 3 of us were there for 3 days on a major bender ( booze, etc...) After 3 days they got back the checks and were roughing him up til someone would make good on the check. This was over $700.00
