I went back today and lost my $100 (oh well). I asked the dealer if all the decks get shuffled and he said yes. He also said that after one deck, they put them in the shuffler. If my understanding of True Count is correct, I would then need a running count of at least +8 to get a True Count of +2 (so I can increase my bets)? That's hard to get when you see a lot of 10's and Aces, as I did this morning (I didn't count though). This is kind of bogus for the player then. Is there any way that we as players to get them to play deeper into the decks?
I haven't been to other casinos in the lower mainland to see if this is the same or not. If it is (I'll for sure check them out once I get a good grasp on counting), I may need to do some trips to the States instead.
