Spreading 1-6 with reKO

I know that with reKO, it is best advised to spread your bets 1-8. Is it still possible to beat DD DAS h17 in the long run spreading 1-6? I have a six thousand dollar bankroll, and the few times I've gone to the ten dollar tables and spread 1-6 I've made a good chunk of change. Bankrolls should be 100 times the max bet, so I think my risk of ruin will be acceptable. But the real question is whether spreading 1-6 will be profitable in the long run. What do you guys think?

using "straight" KO, a 1-2 spread with index & insurance is +EV.
a 1-5 spread was something like +1.2% so my guess is yes, 1-6 is profitable (so long as reKO is as or more efficient than KO).

Thanks. I think I'll take the plunge and move up to the $10 tables. Better camo there, lots of high rollers routinely betting 100-200 per hand (especially Asians). I don't get a single look from the pit betting my $60.

As far as how reKO compares to original KO, I'm not sure, but I think I remember reading that pretty much any legitimate counting strategy has a very minute difference in terms of long run effectiveness.

As a matter of fact, here's a chart comparing KO to reKO. KO is slightly more effective, so I'll probably look more into switching to that eventually. reKO has been pretty good to me though, so far.

The biggest difference between reKO and KO is that in reKO, index deviations all start at counts of +2 or higher, whether you're playing DD or 6D. It's good for rookies like me.
