God, how many innovative ways that they invent to convey that you are a card counter.Baberuth said:I am surprised a tap would not allow BJ at the continuous shuffle machines. Are they really afraid you will win there?

Are you just saying? This didn't really happen, did it?Baberuth said:I am surprised a tap would not allow BJ at the continuous shuffle machines. Are they really afraid you will win there?

What the hell is wrong with this guy? Why would you go run a tracking play on another game after you've been barred? At least come back on another shift!Sucker said:Case in point: I have a friend who got barred from playing blackjack at a major casino for ace-tracking too accurately. They told him that he could play ANY other game in the casino. So he went over to the baccarat table and proceeded to pick a 9 out of the 8-deck shoe (24% advantage). After winning the bet the casino manager finally smartened up and barred him from the whole property.
I asked him this exact same question to his face, in these exact same words. And I'm STILL not 100% sure that he's completely learned his lesson. :laugh:moo321 said:What the hell is wrong with this guy? I'm pretty sure this casino policy doesn't change based on the type of bj-based game. The dealers are just robots following casino policy (hopefully NOT). The higher ups that set this policy are too ignorant and too nervous about game protection to realize the difference between pitch, shoe and csm and probably don't want their dealers thinking anyway. Think about where those people came from. They are just dealers who worked their way through the ranks and they have the same voodoo mindset as almost all casino personnel do.:grin:CrazyEddie said:BTW, how come they yell "Checks Play" at a CSM table (they do)?
Possibly for risk management. The reason they usually call "black action" is to let the floor know that the inventory of black chips may be changing.CrazyEddie said:BTW, how come they yell "Checks Play" at a CSM table (they do)?
I've heard it and I understand why they would say it. When used properly, this is the quickest way to tell the difference between a ploppy and a potential AP. Calling out "doubling on soft 18" is equal to saying "this guy might have a brain".tribute said:I have even heard a dealer yell out, "Doubling down on A7".
