These type of routes are when going from one casino to another on the strip or downtown. And lets not forget parking freely. The reason i ask these routes help to make money and stay out of crowded traffic. KJ whats up man you are the inside man?

Earlier in life, including my BJ career, I didn't have a vehicle because I couldn't afford one, didn't want one and didn't need one. Living in the city back east, owning a car just was not necessary and even a hassle. Monthly parking costs more than some folks pay for housing.

The 'can't afford one' no longer applies. I now don't own a vehicle because I choose not to drive. After living in Vegas for a year now, I have decided I will be seeking some private transportation. Las Vegas is just not as condusive to not having a car. Like many western cities it is more spread out than eastern cities and there is no car share programs like I belonged to back east. (I wish there were) I think a car is a waste of time when playing on the strip or even downtown, but especially on the strip. I like to walk the strip and you just can't beat $1 monorail rides for locals. I usually walk to one end of strip north or south hitting various stores and then monorail it home. Can't beat it. However playing the outlying 'local' stores makes private transportation necessary. Plus I like to drive to Red rock canyon for hiking and other attractions nearby, like the painted desert, grand canyon, Hoover dam. Anyway, bottom line is I have begun looking at motorcycles. I think a small bike would be awesome in meeting my transportation needs. Economic and fun too.

Plus based on the Bellagio robbery, a good way to flee the scene.

You're a smart young man and you will improve your chances for becoming a smart old man immensely by choosing a car over a bike.
When I was your age, I'd have chosen the bike, too!

Thanks for the in depth trip report. Well done! It was kind of like reading a post by Jason (detailed, honest and workmanlike).
The smaller spreads you noticed were probably done by neccessity. Most of us like to think we know what will (and won't) be tolerated. We can be wrong on that because things like the mood of the "big guy" can change the ceiling.

I see KJ....I was definitely thinking about the outlying stores...Jean, primm, mesquite, laughlin...etc just a few of the many... I do alot of driving...so just couldnt imagine not having a car.....I'm looking at vw diesels right now....
Hey bikes are nice too...i think one would work pretty decent in Vegas....

Probably the best way to explain to people who question you for not driving: tell them you're an epileptic. I'm serious! It has less stigma than being a drunk driver.

It might make for a nice AP move too. One day I'm going to put $10K on the Pass line, and after come-out I'm going to hit the floor writhing. Not sure if they're allowed to do anything other than cancel the roll and lock up my money if I'm taken out in an ambulance and can't continue. That would have a pretty good advantage, depending on the point. I wonder how many stores I could pull this off in over a weekend?

You're thinking they cannot take your money if the thrower craps out? I'm guessing they will let it ride until you either win or lose. No free ride. But I agree with KJ that you deserve a cover charge from all onlookers. And maybe an Academy Award if you pull it off in three or more stores the same weekend.

No actually I would do this as the shooter. I know the shooter can pass the dice in the middle of a hand any time he wants, but I'm not sure if the casino can force the dice to be passed if the shooter is physically unable to throw. Craps whales would scream about that. With all the craps played this has to have happened before.

If you are going to do it...

Look for a table where someone is betting 10k+ on the don't pass. I have a feeling the casino would be more likely to halt the action if it favors them.
