Well as some of you know, I planned a trip with a friend to Caesars Windsor in Ontario Canada ( 4 hour trip from Chicago, not that bad )....

I can flip through a single full deck of cards in a legit 23 seconds, which is not good but acceptable from what I have read - Story below


So I figured before I go to Vegas for my 21 birthday I go get a little seat time. Never again will I go back to the sh*t hole in my entire life. I will explain a short version of what happen....


Basically I was doing great and I am really pround of myself - At one point I was up 2,300 and was playing with a total of 7,300 give or take --- The emotion was unexplainable and I loved every phucking second of it! Anyway with a TC of + 6 I start betting like a pimp and got smacked like a hoe lol --- I lost 5k of the 7,300 and just walked out after that... This is what happen remember the TC is +6 not RC but TC! lol.... I start betting PURPLE CHIPS - Some how with the TC of +6 I lost every god damn hand ( once the purples came out ) - Now here is the phucked up part, the times I had a 20 she MAGICALLY dealt herself a 21.... THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of the time I got dealt a stiff, stood, and she had 20..... I am not mad, nor angry, as I have read about situations similar to these and understand negative flux ---- BUT COME ON THAT IS GOD DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO LOSE 5K IN AN ALMOST COMPLETE NEGATIVE LOSING STREAK AT A TC OF +3-6 - I strongly believe these people are cheats and will never go there again... Oh and what actually got me to stand up and say phuck it was the last hand I played in that dump.... I bet 1k lol..... Got dealt a 20 and the **** had a 4 showing, flipped a 10, and dealt a 7 LOL 21!! I was like wowwwww, later

Like I said previously this is just negative flux at it's best, but then again I truly feel cheated - You honestly had to be there to understand lol.... I brought 10k US, only exchanged 5k US, and walked out with 2,300 Canadian lol ---- Mind you I did not put all the exchanged money on the table, so I really did not lose 5k but still.... Atleast I did not exchange the entire 10k --

I am not hurting nor am I holding any grudges, I just want to know if there is a way I can see if they truly are CHEATS???

I would also like to mention that I have 7,665 points on my total rewards card and have a tier of 2,300 -- lol If I go there again I should be able to comp up to platinum level!!! So I guess that is a +? :grin:

I am not hurting for the 4k or w/e I lost I just would like to find out how someone would legitly be able to find out if a certain Casino is cheating. Any information would be greatly appreciated

Oops forgot to display the rules --- 6 deck 25-2500 70%ish dealer stands 17 double any, double after split, etc etc nothing special

Oh and another messed up thing about it was, I do not know if they do this in vegas but I had to ASK for the table rules --- They were not displayed, only the min-max bet!

That's probably not as infrequent as you'd think.

Sounds like you hit the ol' dealer buzzsaw...it does happen and you've gotta mentally rebound from it and stick to the basics. Just remember that when the count is up there and you are grabbing that advantage, it's because the shoe has a healthy amount of big cards...and they ain't guaranteed to come to you only. :flame: It can really piss you off to get trumped like that or to see other players get 20s & BJs while you suffer with stiffs.

Being a magician, I am somewhat learned in the art of cheating in cards, I am sure that it would be extremely difficult to pull of somethign like that. Like you said, I am sure you are just experiencing negative variance, and that you were not cheated.

You say you aren't hurting, while accusing (or at least the idea came up) them of cheating? Sounds at least something was hurt Anyway, I don't recall what kind of BR you are working with, but I hope you have a 50k roll or so, as you mentioned betting of purple chips (plural means more than 1? In which case you need more). I don't mean to sound offensive, but with all objectivity, it sounds like you are going to become one of those failed counters that only led himself to failure. Its one thing to get the simple counting stuff, its another to beat the psychological aspect of the game. Don't get too caught up in the gambling. LOOK like you are, but inside, youve got ice in your veins. Also, I suspect you weren't playing with much (good) cover, where at that kind of play it would be required.

You are still new at this. Practice up. Play nickels, or at least quarters if thats not exciting enough. Learn to observe heat and react.

yeah that is not a very uncommon story id expect to be fluctuating more than that when betting purples. You are not going to win more hands a a tc of +6 you just have a small advantage and are betting large with the hopes of the natural
one other thing is i think that betting purples is wayyy to large for a 5k-10k bankroll i dont know the ror but its verrryyyy high but 10-20 big bets is not good one bad run of cards as you have seen will wipe you out and losing 10 in a row is no suprise

your big losses will come at the high TCs. you will not lose your shirt betting minimum bets. at a TC of 6 (or even 10+), you will still lose more hands than you win. you knew that right? you need to put the money out and hope for some good splits, doubles, and blackjacks. you will lose if that TC stays high and never comes down.

what was your betting unit? why would you ever throw out $1k on a hand at a TC of 6 - do you have an $50+k bankroll? with 10k in your hand, i would not be betting purples. i think you need to put down the joint and pick up snyder again. at least you realize it was variance. what you need to realize is how common it is to lose 5k given that you were betting purples. what you need to realize is that you were (likely) overbetting. what you need to realize was that you were extremely undisciplined. the threads here will teach you what you need to know. you have a lot to learn grasshopper.

i believe the canadian casinos are government regulated (someone correct me if i am wrong, i have never played there) and so the odds of cheating are slim to none. want to check? back count a whole bunch of shoes. if you constantly see the count rise and never fall, maybe the shoe is short some tens. but i highly highly doubt it.

Stratosphere...3 1/2 weeks ago...count is juicy, I jump in to a game where 3 buddies are already playing (backcounted after bathroom break): dealer pulls 2 natural BJs in a row, but count is still up there because players are getting little cards. Dealer draws to a mix of 20s and 21s for 4 more consecutive hands. Although I got out after 4 of the 6 beatings, it was absolutely nuts.

Sorry to hear about the L you took...but just remember the W's you snag when the count is big too.

(1) You were betting $500 a hand and you were down $2,300 on the session - 5 max bets. I don't see what you're whining about.

(2) Based on this post solely, I think you're far too emotional to be card counting. Reconsider doing it at all. If you handle a severe losing streak, you're not meant to gamble, AP or not.

(3) If you're going to play blackjack, I suggest you flat bet $5 for a while to get a feel of streaks. It's pretty easy to lose 10 bets or win 10 bets just flat betting.

Let's clear up one major misconception that people have - a high true count, in and of itself, does not make you win more. The reason why high TC's are valuable is because it is more likely that the count will drop - and the count dropping is what really helps you.

If the TC is high at the cut card, it means that you've been playing a NEGATIVE shoe all along - you saw all the low cards and didn't get to see any of the high cards. The best shoes are not the ones where the count goes up and then stays high while you play, it's where the count goes up and then crashes.

If your TC kept hovering at high counts, it's not a good sign. You want the count to go up at the beginning of the shoe, but eventually, you want the count to drop, or else all the good cards are in the unplayed portion of the shoe.

No no no you are def correct - Betting purples for the bankroll was out of question but honestly I had the 10k written off already lol..... If it was never for that phucked up streak I would have gladly loss the 10k... Just the point that RIGHT when I put the purples out there this impossible sh*t start happening lol ----- So in reality if they really ARE cheats they saved me 7k :grin:

This was my first time and it was more for the education then the profit - I am a very weird person and can not explain it to normal stable minded people lol.... Dont worry i understand what your saying but the truth is this is not very uncommon of an occurence. Your right that sometimes its "magical" with the way and ammount the dealer is winning but thats the game the roller coaster ride is not an easy one youll always be calm on the way up but once you start to drop off the edge you get a feeling in your chest or a tingle somewhere else... but anyway if your playing correctly there will be another up the roller coaster never ends its just a big big loop

unless your on the boomerang of course where either way you end uo being up

the thing is you need a structured betting pattern to get the optimal advantage. with fluctuation largely like that you could actually be loosing all your advantage and possibly giving the house a larger advantage!
