Big dummies like me need all the help they can get. But many of the smarter people might respond, "Ho hum!" Since every level of intelligence is represented here, there are no poor contributions, so don't be shy with your input; someone will benefit.Gramazeka said:Really?![]()
It would be interesting to know, not necessarily in public, whether these amazing feats were performed against the typical Vegas or AC shuffle, or against a weaker, more vulnerable one.creeping panther said:At the recent BJ BASH a very skilled shuffle tracking team attended and gave lessons in what they do and I had the pleasure, as did many, of playing with them. I will say that this team puts straight counting to shame, simply amazing.

I doubt CP would waste his time tracking at a joint with a convoluted shuffle.aslan said:It would be interesting to know, not necessarily in public, whether these amazing feats were performed against the typical Vegas or AC shuffle, or against a weaker, more vulnerable one.![]()
The two deck is divided into four half-deck grabs. Two of the four groups are riffled and put together to reform the two deck. This process is repeated a second time.Sonny said:Not necessarily true. The devil is in the details.

(1) Are you saying that CP said he himself was tracking? I didn't get that from his statement. What I am wondering is what kind of shuffle the expert ST team was up against and whether their success was against the more difficult shuffles typical of of LV and AC. It is possible, is it not? As Sonny says, "The devil's in the details." (2) Are you stating that "convoluted" best describes the shuffles usually done in AC and Vegas? Is it your opinion that shuffle tracking is largely a waste of time in those two major gambling meccas? I predict that KJ will partially answer this question in the next post. You should get off strip and away from the big houses. You will be surprised at some of the local joint's shuffles.psyduck said:The two deck is divided into four half-deck grabs. Two of the four groups are riffled and put together to reform the two deck. This process is repeated a second time.
From what I can tell, each grab is distributed throughout the entire shuffled deck at the end. That was why I said I believed it could not be tracked.
To answer some questions, the tracking I do is not in the class of what this EXPERT team executes.aslan said:(1) Are you saying that CP said he himself was tracking? I cannot over-emphasize the importance of this statementcreeping panther said:Also, I hope no one here engages in conversation as to what type of shuffle we are speaking of in this instance, no good can come from it.
