vegas from 4th to 14 tth july need some info please

Greetings to all forum members and mentors. I will be going to vegas from july 4 to 14. It will be my first time to vegas and I want to get some info from you guys. First I would like to learn about some precautions i need to take there, for exemple how much i can spread.I planned to spread from 2 hand of 25 to two hands of 250 as max bets, will this be tolerant? I would like to know which casinos are the best to play (with the better games) MOST IMPORTANTLY is it ok to give my players card to get some comps or is it better to not play with it at all? Any info from you will be extremely appreciated. Please PM if better. Thank you in advance to everyone.

That's a 1-10 spread. If you're playing unrated, that kind of spread will attract attention. And if you're playing rated that kind of spread will get you barred.

If you play 6 deck games, the best games are found at the Wynn/Encore and at most of the MGM Casinos (MGM Grand, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio and Aria etc.). These casinos will usually have liberal rules with the dealer standing on soft 17 at $25 in the mornings and afternoons.

The MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay allegedly have liberal rules S17 games at $15 in the mornings, too.

If you're playing for comps, you'll have to use your player card. So I say stick to the S17 liberal rules games, play rated, and spread 1 to 4 (alternatively, you can Wong in and out of games but if you do this its hard to play rated at the same time). That alone will basically nullify the house edge even without comps.

Avoid ANY casino run by Caesar's Entertainment (Harrah's, Bally's, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Caesar's Palace etc.).

Unless Wynncore has changed recently, they cut 2 decks off their 6D games. Not worth playing, IMO.

1 to 4 spread for 6 deckers? You can't be serious!

No my experience ever.

I only play shoe games in Vegas and was there twice in the last 4 months. Played at approx. 15 stores 15 hours a day and never spread less than 1-12 and spread mostly 1-16.

Always played rated. NEVER ANY HEAT.

You'll go broke playing a shoe game with 1-8 spread unless you have huge bank and exceptional rules.

TERRIBLE ADVICE.

Really? Ive seen stories on this forum with people spreading quite conservatively and still getting backed off.

You must use pretty advanced "cover" or gamble at places with very bad counter-countermeasures to be able to get away with that amount of play and spreading.

Well I'm talking about red to green and green to black play in shoe games only.

I can't speak for black minimum play or DD and SD....can't imagine making. Profit at r.g. Or g.b with 1-8 spread...would need th best game on earth.


My sims show very low hourly gain with very high ROR. For this spread

They might be useful for comp hustlers though. Less hands per hour (due to more frequent shuffles) means more free drinks and a larger comps-per-hand ratio (unless they readjusted their assumed hands-per-hour to compensate for the more frequent shuffles).

I agree though, 66% penetration would be rather annoying for card counters.

It would be an upstream battle to say the least. It would help you to hone your BS and CC skills to perfection, as well as, give you experience wonging out super-aggressively. Then with your profits, you could visit Bill's for a cheap prime rib dinner. Well, I'm trying to be positive. Last time I was there, I just wanted to see how long I could stay even. The ambience seemed worth it, plus I was just killing time waiting for someone.

Thanks to everyone for all your replies, so in conclusion if i want to spread 1- 10 to make a good hourly rate, its better to play unrated? I have a friend visiting vegas twice a year minimum using the exact same betting as me. He spread 1 - 10, But leaves every time he gets actions and he plays unrated. he has never been barred or back off in any casino, but he notice that the pit made phone calls when the pit finds him suspicious. So from what i can read. It won't be possible to play rated with a 1- 10 spread.

Play rated with a 1-16 spread. Just have an act, play the role. Big action is not a concern in vegas. Its playing big action when you dont fit the role.

Not to stereotype, but based on your user name, I assume you are Asian. This is a big advantage, as Asians love to gamble. They jump bets all the time. They also have lots of superstitions. I won't say too much more...you can be creative with your act.

Youk is right. Asian gamblers are stereotypically inept (and in my experience, many of them are).

Its an offensive stereotype but you can work it to your advantage.

It might help if you go on about "luck" and "fortune" in a very vague way.

Encore is all red, so that might help, and it will remind you of Wynn Macau.

If were playing on the same Vegas. I don't see a 1-10 spread causing heat at all especially if you don't play regularly. Throw the money on the table when the count justifies it and don't be so paranoid.

thanks again for all replies from you, in vegas now, first day went to visit a couple of casino. all harrahs casino are 8decks h17 ls, and mgm casino is 6decks h17, havent found any s17 yet but will visit the rest of the casino i havent been to. again i have another question double decks are midshoe entry allowed. will it no be even better to backcount double decks?

Last time I was there, you could find S17 blackjack in "Pit 17" which is located outside the Tabu nightclub.
