6 decks rules unknown...Going from some of the video clips from the local wheeling news, it looks like they have at least a few CSMs. That's just from a glance at some of the newscasts. I could be wrong. I will be at Wheeling Island tomorrow afternoon, so I will post conditions if noone beats me to it. I also saw a button at one of the BJ tables. Seemed kind of odd. Could this have something to do with RFID chips?

Yes it's kind of an antique looking button for the RFID, looks totally out of place in a modern casino.farookhbj said:

On another and unrelated subject, and probably not appropriate for here, the Shufflemaster BJ game seems to have been removed from PA slot parlors. At least at the Meadows.
The technician putting in slot machines in the same floor space said the "Gaming Commision" made them pull it because it wasn't approved.
Which makes one wonder how it got there in the first place.

Well, I went to Wheeling Island yesterday and to my disgust they are using CSMS /w RFID chips. The dealer has to press a button after every hand. 6 deck, DOA,DAS, Split up to 4 hands. Not bad rules but this system takes the fun out of it. Alot of nice locals there though.

Maybe not ... I was just at Seneca Niagara. They added a few CSM's in about June and none since. Played at a table across the pit from a CSM, ours was more full more often, and several people made comments they "just don't like those darned things". What's the point ... 8 deck shoe games anyway .. ASM's would make more sense. Dealer's didn't know how many shoes in CSM's.

Just a FYI...I've been told Mountaineer has mostly shoe games. That's really strange. Why would one casino 45 minutes from the other offer all CSM and the other shoe games? Not sure about the rules or number of decks. I will probably be hitting Mountaineer sometime in the next weeks to check it out. I will post if noone has.
