Depends on where you go In Vegas ... Try your best to keep moving hit and run helps combat the heat, unless you’re going to make as much as possible before the heat burns you out lol
I’ve been able to camp comfortably the whole last year at high end joints in the strip. This means you must expect to play $50 min bet with the appropriate bankroll. Just avoid TI high limit room, they’ll peg you first time you split 10s
I learned that lesson there, I was playing rated since that was my home casino ever since my red chip days. I couldn’t pretend I didn’t have a players card. now I’m banned there so I can’t try again.
The question pertinent to this thread, would a big casino in Vegas tolerate splitting 10s unrated until you finish the shoe?
When a casino even suspects that a counter is playing on one of their tables, why would you think that they would let her/him finish a shoe, while playing rated or unrated, ESPECIALLY, in high count situations, with large bets out? Now if the last hand of the shoe is the splitting 10s hand and that hand is not yet completed where splitting and resplitting 10 value cards is an allowable house rule, by law, they have to let the person finish the hand until it is over.
