Unfortunately, no. The TC hit +4 after ~2 decks and stayed there for many hands. I was betting 2x300 at that point. I lost most of the hands and was down about 4K for the shoe. The next to last round was all low cards with dealer winning with a 5 card 21. At that point, with a degenerate gambler act, I pushed in everything I had on the table and won both hands, ending the shoe -1400.GAGE COUNTY said:Highest I've seen is true +9. We're u winning big at that point?

Best TC was +10 on a 4/6 shoe at the cut card. Had two boxes with 4 fingers high of green stacked. Heads up, Pushed the last three rounds.jack said:Nice little recovery there....haha. If it werent for those last money rounds?
Of course, the deeper the pen, the higher the TCs get. Ive seen some hit as high as +60 with about 1/2 deck remaining with L2 counts.
Nice Avatar. I could of swore you had a different one last night:laugh:bjcount said:Best TC was +10 on a 4/6 shoe at the cut card. Had two boxes with 4 fingers high of green stacked. Heads up, Pushed the last three rounds.

I know, I know, theres just something about a rare +10 TC(L1) that gets me really excited and when the best I get is a stinkin push(out) on 2 hands each, the last 3 rounds of play; I would probably just grab some chips and take off running...... Just kidding. Better luck next time![]()
Even in high counts you are still more likely to lose the hand, and pushes increase pretty quickly when most of the cards are tens. Here's a nice little graph from Qfit:GAGE COUNTY said:At a + 8 or 9 tc us advantaged players are supposed to have like a 3.5 to 4% adavantage over the house, yet the majority of guys on this thread are reporting to lose or push more than win.
No, because if the player and the dealer are constanly hit 20's and blackjacks, the player is getting paid 2:3 on blackjacks and only losing 1:1 to the dealers blackjack. Also insurance/even money are profitable during these high counts. You may lose more in a single session, if the dealer keeps hitting Blackjack and you don't but this is just variance, you both as likely to hit a Blackjack and because of the players higher payout, you should be increasing your bets NOT decreasing.takinfromindians97 said:I would think that when you are hitting that kind of TC that most of the cards left in the shoeare 10s or aces. Here is my question, Can the count ever get so high that it actually isnt in your favor? Theres got to be some point when the dealer is either going to push or beet your 20 with a blackjack. Maybe i am wrong here but if i got a count that was ridiculously high i would pull back my bet a little, probably not to a single unit but lower then 10 or 12 units.
what game is that!! that's worse than a 6:5 on blackjacks game :joker::devil:HarryKuntz said:No, because if the player and the dealer are constanly hit 20's and blackjacks, the player is getting paid 2:3 on blackjacks and only losing 1:1 to the dealers blackjack.
