8/8 vs. 8, 9, 10 or Ace
9/9 vs. 9 (note: 9/9 vs. 7 should not be split, but is a favorite if done).
The rest are outright money favorites.

Took me a while to figure this, does this mean that splitting is +EV, but holding is MORE +EV?Renzey said:9/9 vs. 9 (note: 9/9 vs. 7 should not be split, but is a favorite if done).
Sounds about right. It's just like having an eleven vs. 6. You're the favorite to win that hand, just a bigger win if you DD.EasyRhino said:Took me a while to figure this, does this mean that splitting is +EV, but holding is MORE +EV?
Didn't realize that Norm. Thanks! BTW, is there somewhere I can acquire EV tables that take re-splitting into account?QFIT said:A couple nits: Assuming Resplit, 22v7 and 66v4 are +EV.
what u mean 4 4 vs 5 and 6 also should not spilt for the origin player ?Sonny said:Also, the player should split everything except 4,4 and 5,5 against any dealer upcard (and the 4,4 vs. 5&6).

Nice chart, especially the conditional defensive splits! Have you calculated that with BJA 3?Automatic Monkey said:beyondbj- would the attached file happen to contain the wheel you are trying to reinvent?
If you are backlining partner splits then the strategy changes substantially. See strategy zip above. zgbeyondbj said:so if respilt allowed , the back player should also follow to spilt for the above two hand ?
No I do everything with a mix of CVData outputs and my own spreadsheets and programs.KObold said:Nice chart, especially the conditional defensive splits! Have you calculated that with BJA 3?
beyondbj said:hi monkey , thanks for your chart
could u pls explan the conditional defensive spilts
u said the back bet should be larger than the front around 5-15%
so do u only count the orignal bet as front bet or including the other spiltting bet?
for example , if i bet 1US in the front , and 2 US at the back
then i spilt a 6 6 vs dealer 10 , then i put 1us more to spilt it , so do u count it as worth to do this spillting ?
and also is the back bet much larger than the original will get more edge ?
how to caculate how much house edge can be cut by this method (considering both front and back bet is my money )
