Just curious...
Besides me, does anyone else here actually play BJ for real cash online?

I have another thread going right now which I don't want to divert from but I don't live near any 'Land Based' establishments where I can C.C and implement strategies where I can make any substantial amounts of money. SO...back to my question does anyone else here actually play BJ for real cash online?
If yes...

Where at, and have things worked in your favor overall?!

Thanks

No. Gave it up a few years ago.
Hope not to pester, but...
OVERALL...Did you find it be a profitable endeavor?

Im trying to get a feel for things and find out 1st hand if any experienced past or present players would recommend it to a BJ enthusiast who doesn't live near ANY 'brick and mortar' establishments, thanks moo321

I truly enjoy the game and the thrill of winning(but who doesn't) and I need to find a way to be able to play and try to make some profits at the same time. I'm not looking to "get rich" from this, not at all. I sincerely enjoy playing BJ and have no way of doing this other than play'n for free...But that's not as enjoyable as making a couple hundred here and there doing something you really enjoy.

Playing BJ online was extremely profitable during the golden age of bonus hunting.
There are still some bonuses out there but they are becoming rare.

The casino`s caught on and very few allow BJ to complete wagering requirements nowadays.
Saying that, there are still some profitable plays out there which include wagering on different games to cash out a bonus.

A friend told me

A friend I know used to play online for money. Based on what he told me I dont think he believed it to be legit. He said that he developed a winning strategy of playing a very short session. From his experience he believed the websites "allowed" early wins to encourage bigger losses later. Like it was programmed into their software. From this I concluded his assessment was that they cheat so I never played.

Variance in Blackjack is heavy, so perception of a fair game is easily fooled - you would need a very large number of hands to draw any conclusions.

Like any game: if you don't like to play, don't play.

Just found an online game here>(Dead link: http://freeblackjackdoc.com/blackjack-game.htm) whichs "prompts" you to play for real money. The "Vegas Strip" game is 4 Decks S17 NDAS, DSA, DA2 95% pen $5-500 spread. No discard tray. I havent inquired the real money game(or sure if i can) but if its the same as practice mode.......the rest is history. From what i can tell, the cards fall like they should.

One of the most practical bonus whoring strategies is to bet big at the very start to either win big or bust out quickly (this is a legitimate strategy and regardless of game can make most bonuses +EV if you know what you're doing). If the assertation you friend made was true the online casinos would lose vast amounts of money.
