I warned a few friends about 6:5 blackjack. Even sent them the link to http://www.blackjackinfo.com/no6to5.php. They played 6:5 single deck blackjack anyway.
He's right, but then again he shouldn't be telling. zglvhcm said:6/5 is the best thing to happen to blackjack in years.
sorry, i don't understand. i thought 6:5 was really bad cause of the vastly increased house edge. am i missing something?lvhcm said:6/5 is the best thing to happen to blackjack in years.
And I enjoy the ones that don't have such a sign. Hammer time!EasyRhino said:I still enjoy the single deck 6:5 games that have "no mid-shoe entry" signs plastered on them.

I was just in vegas.. We did not cross paths. To bad.. I was giving a table at the MGM the lecture about why 6:5 sucks.. Even the pit boss agreed. Maybe Next time.

LVHCM spoke the truth, so I'll let him explain it. zgnc-tom said:I am with sage on this one. What am I missing? could you please explain this reasoning to us either on the board or through private mail
some how i think he won't ....... probably would have to do with hole carding but i wonder since it wouldn't seem more likely that a 6:5 game would have more sloppy dealers than other games.zengrifter said:LVHCM spoke the truth, so I'll let him explain it. zg

$10 bet on 3:2 pays $15
$10 bet on 6:5 pays $12 or how about DD and paying $20? (assuming the count is acceptable and dealer has the right card)
How is that for great cover? Only a bozo would do that right?
Also, with the 6:5 craze sweeping the multi-deck games, you can't even be assured of getting an exploitable pitch game anymore!sagefr0g said:probably would have to do with hole carding but i wonder since it wouldn't seem more likely that a 6:5 game would have more sloppy dealers than other games.
