Hey there. I would play multiple hands, but the casinos I play at require you to bet double the table minimum if you play more than one hand. And my bankroll is very low so I want to bet as little as I can at the moment. But if you have the bankroll to play multiple hands, it seems like a good idea. If your betting 2 hands at a time that would double your win rate and reduce your variance.

And if you lose in a positive count 4 times in a row or more, I guess you have to just keep going. Your gonna get unlucky at times but if the count is still positive there's no reason not to keep playing.

The real risk you are facing is not so much playing-all with wong out, but losing in plus counts at max bet. So long as you wong out when the count goes too far south, you will generally be all right. It's the big losses at max bet that hurt, and you will get them no matter whether you wong in or play-all. Don't get me wrong, wonging in is still better than play-all with wong out, but neutral and slightly negative counts is not generally where the big bucks are lost.
Aslan, very well put. Since the young man is flat-betting, on VERY limited bankroll, he probably can last quite a while, and practice counting in real world conditions. My fear is that IT IS a small market area, and wonging too aggressively could attract unwanted attention.... even as a red chipper

Yea it is a small market area. I don't think they are on to me yet, but I have felt a little uneasy at times. The casinos are small so I feel like if I stay more than an hour or so, it becomes kind of obvious what I am doing. Any tips on how to avoid this?

Just like you suggested, don't stay too long.

If you have a friend, you can back count and signal him/her to enter and bet the agreed upon amount. This is not as simple as it seems, so think it out completely before you try it. I could tell you more, but I don't want to educate our surveillance friends. You have a brain; use it.

Thats a good idea. I've been trying to convince some friends to learn to count so we can team up but they are lazy hah. If I can convince one of them to at least learn basic strategy and the red 7 indices I'll try that out.

play less work more

Suppose I could get together some extra cash, how big should my bankroll be to employ this strategy?

And Blackjack Avenger, do you just think if you backcount and wong in/out for a substantial period of time your going to get caught?
You will be making a couple bucks an hour, job is better
Not probable, but you can get caught. Yep. Your style will be semi aggressive.

Top of my head
Not entering earliest advantage but a little later, so you can continue if count drops a little you need about 100+ bets. Once you have 100+ bets you can raise bets or apply a spread (prefered). Eventually a real bank would be nice, betting well less then Kelly
