After betting closes, every bet spot gets a random Mega Multiplier from 2x to 100x. A dice shaker then decides the round: a dice result of 8 or 9 makes it a Mega Round and the multipliers apply to the winning bet spots; any other result is a regular round with regular payouts.

A larger payout is not a better return by itself. The cost depends on how often that bet wins and on every commission, reduced payout and fee that applies.

Is there a Mega Baccarat strategy?

No. The cards follow the fixed third card rule, the dice decide whether a round is a Mega Round, and the multipliers are drawn at random after betting closes. Pragmatic's rules give the best return as 98.79%, on the Player bet.

The multipliers come after you bet

Every bet spot gets its Mega Multiplier only once betting has closed, and only a dice result of 8 or 9 switches them on. Nothing you see before the deal tells you which spot will be boosted.

The fee is part of every bet

A 20% Mega fee is added to each bet, so a bet of 10 costs 12. It is the price of the chance at a Mega Round, and you pay it whether or not one comes.

Most rounds are regular rounds

When the dice show anything other than 8 or 9, the multipliers disappear and the game pays ordinary baccarat odds.

How Mega Baccarat works

Bet on Player, Banker, Tie or a pair. A Mega fee of 20% is added, so a bet of 10 costs 12.

Baccarat with a dice roll

Mega Baccarat deals ordinary eight deck baccarat with Player, Banker and Tie, plus Player Pair and Banker Pair side bets. The twist comes once betting closes: every bet spot is given a random Mega Multiplier from 2x to 100x, and a dice shaker tumbles to decide what happens next. If the dice result is 8 or 9, the round is a Mega Round and the multipliers are switched on. Any other result is a regular round, the multipliers disappear and winning bets are paid ordinary odds.

What a win pays

Player pays 1 to 1 and can reach 100 to 1 in a Mega Round. Banker also pays 1 to 1 and up to 100 to 1, but only 95% of your Banker stake comes back on a win. Tie pays 8 to 1, up to 800 to 1, and the pairs pay 10 to 1, up to 1,000 to 1. If two or more bet spots win in a Mega Round, each is paid with its own multiplier. On a Tie, Player and Banker bets are returned.

What it costs
