Baccarat with a dice shaker: when the dice land on 8 or 9, Mega Multipliers of 2x to 100x boost every winning bet, for a 20% fee on each bet.
Mega Baccarat is for players who want the chance of a multiplied baccarat win and accept paying for it on every hand. Pragmatic's rules give the best return as 98.79% on Player; the extra 20% fee and the rare Mega Rounds make it a bumpier and pricier ride than ordinary baccarat.
Alto. Most rounds pay ordinary baccarat odds while the 20% fee is paid every time. The value comes back in occasional Mega Rounds, so results swing more than at a standard table.
Payouts below describe winning profit. A winning bet normally also returns its stake, with exceptions shown in the settlement column. Commission and additional fees must also be accounted for.
| Apuesta | Profit payout | Commission and settlement | Ventaja de la casa |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jugador | 1 to 1, up to 100 to 1 in a Mega Round | Push on a Tie. | No verified figure |
| Banker | 1 to 1, up to 100 to 1 in a Mega Round | Only 95% of the Banker stake is returned on a win. Push on a Tie. | No verified figure |
| Tie | 8 to 1, up to 800 to 1 in a Mega Round | No verified figure | |
| Player Pair | 10 to 1, up to 1,000 to 1 in a Mega Round | Player's first two cards are a pair. | No verified figure |
| Banker Pair | 10 to 1, up to 1,000 to 1 in a Mega Round | Banker's first two cards are a pair. | No verified figure |
Additional fee: 20% Mega fee on every bet, outside the table limits
After betting closes, every bet spot gets a random Mega Multiplier from 2x to 100x. A dice shaker then decides the round: a dice result of 8 or 9 makes it a Mega Round and the multipliers apply to the winning bet spots; any other result is a regular round with regular payouts.
A larger payout is not a better return by itself. The cost depends on how often that bet wins and on every commission, reduced payout and fee that applies.
No. The cards follow the fixed third card rule, the dice decide whether a round is a Mega Round, and the multipliers are drawn at random after betting closes. Pragmatic's rules give the best return as 98.79%, on the Player bet.
Every bet spot gets its Mega Multiplier only once betting has closed, and only a dice result of 8 or 9 switches them on. Nothing you see before the deal tells you which spot will be boosted.
A 20% Mega fee is added to each bet, so a bet of 10 costs 12. It is the price of the chance at a Mega Round, and you pay it whether or not one comes.
When the dice show anything other than 8 or 9, the multipliers disappear and the game pays ordinary baccarat odds.
The rules name Player as the bet behind the 98.79% figure. They do not print returns for Banker, Tie or the pairs, so treat their cost as unknown.
Count the 20% fee in your session budget: 100 rounds at 10 a round costs 1,200 in stakes, not 1,000.

When betting closes, every bet spot gets a random Mega Multiplier. The dice shaker then decides the round: 8 or 9 means a Mega Round.
The hands are dealt as usual. In a Mega Round winning bets are paid with their multiplier; otherwise they pay regular odds.
Mega Baccarat deals ordinary eight deck baccarat with Player, Banker and Tie, plus Player Pair and Banker Pair side bets. The twist comes once betting closes: every bet spot is given a random Mega Multiplier from 2x to 100x, and a dice shaker tumbles to decide what happens next. If the dice result is 8 or 9, the round is a Mega Round and the multipliers are switched on. Any other result is a regular round, the multipliers disappear and winning bets are paid ordinary odds.
Player pays 1 to 1 and can reach 100 to 1 in a Mega Round. Banker also pays 1 to 1 and up to 100 to 1, but only 95% of your Banker stake comes back on a win. Tie pays 8 to 1, up to 800 to 1, and the pairs pay 10 to 1, up to 1,000 to 1. If two or more bet spots win in a Mega Round, each is paid with its own multiplier. On a Tie, Player and Banker bets are returned.
Every bet carries a 20% Mega fee on top: a bet of 10 costs 12. Pragmatic’s game rules put the optimal return at 98.79%, based on the Player bet. They do not print a figure for the other bets, and your casino’s game help is the place to check the figures it uses.
