I am practicing my SD and BS for 7-7 vs. 10 is to stay.

Wong has a 0 in his chart. if I am at a -7 tc would I hit this or split it?

In my kitchen table sim I hit it and picked up a 3rd 7.

Could someone help a BJ newbie with this - what is SD, and my understanding for a 7-7 vs a 10 under BS would be to hit.

Why is this different?

SD stands for single deck and no, you do not hit this hand playing basic strategy, you stand.

SD = Single Deck

In a single deck game u stay on 7,7 vs. 10 (mostly because 2 of the cards that make it a winner are used)

Basic Strategy
varies not only between the number of decks used but also the rules used for each game, i.e. doubling down; whether it be on only 10 & 11 or 9,10 & 11 or on any 2 cards (doa), doubling after splitting (DAS), surrender, dealer hits or stands on soft 17 (H17, S17)
