What my case came down to is the casino and the marketing people doing different things. While the casino is tossing me, marketing is trying to get my butt in the door.
No change in ownership, just uncoordinated management.
It was posted in this thread I think as an answer to a question that was not quite on topic.

I have never seen a counter trespassed because you're not doing anything illegal, just asked to leave. Causing trouble is different, you can b trespassed and read the trespass.
As far as changing ownership, the casino uses the same files, even though its new ownership. I guess legally this could be challenged, not sure. I can only go from what I have seen and that is the databases are kept the same, everything applies.
But we had a count team that would come into the place were I worked numerous times and even use different names, they were never trespassed formally just asked to leave. Maybe the casino doesn't want to get into the legal side of trespassing someone who is not doing anything illegal, Gaming would be brought in and do nothing. Hell I have seen Gaming release bet cappers, etc because they are too lazy to do the paperwork. It all depends on your attitude toward gaming, if you're nice and cooperate it goes much easier, if your an ass they will bust for a $5 bet cap.
If the casino is torn down and a new one built, the records are all gone. That's a different story.

hey i wouldnt get ssi if i wasnt disabled and didnt qualify. WTF are u to say i shouldnt be allowed to go to a casino cause im disabled? its making my life better not worse, since im not losing on my casino trips. the only people who should avoid casinos are the losers, not the overall winners.

Trespassed or asked to leave and not play blackjack? There is a big difference. Were you read the trespass, " As a duly appointed member of so and so casino you are not allowed on our property or any sister proprty.

"Trespassed" is where you have been "read the trespass act",
the appropriate section of the ordinance is read to you out loud
before witnesses, as you are asked to sign an acknowledgement
of same. The statement is explicit that a return engagement will
result in immediate arrest.
If one is also a hotel guest they are simultaneously evicted and
all comps are revoked.
On one of my trespasses I was detained for hours and the
State Police were involved. I was never harmed.
I was always a perfectly polite, sober, well-behaved patron.
As far as Connecticut goes, did you imagine that such does not
take place in the New England woods ?

I'm sorry Flash but I have to ask, how the hell can you get trespassed in those CT casinos. We have been beating them up for years, gotten a few backoffs, and NEVER got a trespass. There has been some pretty funny dialogue and some cat and mouse as well between my guys and the suits without the reading. If you get 86'd in CT, you are either a cheat, a liar, or pretty much playing in a less than intelligent manner. If you are none of these, you still need help. Getting booted from these places is just wrong. These are not the kind of places you get 86'd from.

To answer the caustic Bojack1 - you get trespassed in CT when you irritate them by first getting yourself backed off under several different names.

If you worked in the eye you know that casinos look at holecarding very personally and differently than cardcounting.
Cardcounting-the player has skills that can beat us, just back him off.
Holecarding-We, the casino, are so incompetitent that we have some dealers who are not properly trained and this guy is taking advantage of our incompetitance, TOSS HIM TO THE STREET!

If you saw where this thread ended up, it wasn't pretty. There were nasty personal attacks and Mr M posted personally identifiable information about himself. For a lot of reasons, I was removing some of the posts from this thread. Along the way, I accidentally chose physical removal instead of soft delete. Instead of leaving a confusing list of meaningless message headers, I just pruned the thread from here.
