Weekend Warriors

Ya. Okay i threw a little twist in there. They do exist however. Its not a major change in HA

You could however slighty modify it, if desired. Resplitx4,1 card or Split once(x2)Unlimited draw

The rule is okay, I just didn't know if I had interpreted it correctly.

First lets establish the Basics:No Bonuses or Unusual Variations

1.Option1

2D(-.46)8D(-.71)

DA2,NDAS,H17,Resplitx4,RSAx4(UnlimitedDraw)

66%2D/75%8D

2.Option2

8D(-.35)2D(-.12)

DA2,LSr,DAS,Resplitx4,NRA(1card),S17

75%8D/66%2D

Well Base our spreads on the type of game we play. Personally I like 2D(-.46)66%

i like 2D s17,D(10,11 only),ndas,NRA(1card),resplitx4 66%pen

sounds right. i'll sim it tommorrow :)

Whats funny is Adding D9 adds .10 to your EV

Adding Soft hands adds .11

DAS adds .12

Spit ballin here, but I bet with countin you could add another .13 to that.lol

Anyway @ -.50 disadvantage the advantage isnt gonna hit until about +3 with hi-lo. (Im guessin)

I recommend 1:8,1:10 or 1:12 spread

5$,10$,25$,or 50$ units?

A Few Ideas on spreading/For 1 hand only

1/2 kellySpitballin here. Really dont Know. Wheres Admiral Kasi?

+3>2u
+4>4u
+5>8u

3/4 kelly

+2>2u
+3>4u
+4>6u
+5>8u
+6>10u

Somewhere in the middle kelly

+2>1u>or/3u
+3>3u>or/6u
+4>6u>or/9u
+5>9u>or/12u
+6>12u

Short change theme: Probably 1,1/4 kelly

+3>4u/or5u/or6u
+4>8u/or10u/or12u

Example: +4=1%(10units)10K,BR,Bet=125$@1.25kelly

Where can I find a bj game online that I can use for WW2 that allows me to take insurance, set the # of decks, set the pen, and if possible, count KO for me (I'm lazy). I guess resplit limits and dd limits can be achieved simply by not going there.

I think kc has a free game, not sure.

If not, his tdca, I believe, has a 15 day free trial. Which keeps the count for you. (two counts as a matter of fact) under any # of decks/rules...etc

It also comes with many other great feautures. Check it out! Retails for 39.95

Unsure about anything online.

OK, Im gettin a -.50 for that. Is that what you got?
i got -0.347% off a 300mill round sim. if i didn't mess the sim up. :o
this site's basic strategy engine gets -0.55%
wonder what's up with that? me did somethin wrong

Im leaning towards 25$ Okay with me. Anyone using the BS Trainer would have to divide everything by 5, but that's no biggie.

1-10 spread We should use whatever is realistic. I have no idea what is realistic for DD, though.

25,000K BR Sounds good to me, if you really meant $25,000. :)

k_c's program gives -0.5416%.

Now that we determined the game, what size unit should we use 10$,25$,or 50$

Im leaning towards 25$

1-10 spread

25,000K BR

Everybody cool with that?

Isn't 1 to 10 spread going to get you barred in most places? I know in KO a 1 to 5 spread is recommended for DD. More than that seems a bit wild. The plus count come quickly and frequently in double deck. You would find yourself constantly jumping from $25 to $250 in short spans of time. Besides, all you need is a 1 to 5 spread to achieve approx. .9% advantage in KO preferred with favorable rules and 67% pen.

Ok thats what Im getting too. I accidentally had LS checked.

How about 1-10(25$unit) with a 25K BR?

ok when i run the sim just for basic strategy (composit one size fits all) and don't have it configured for any count strategy i get -0.499%
wonder why i get a different house edge of -0.347% for just flat betting on Wong's hi/lo strategy???? shouldn't that be same as a basic strategy better? or maybe it's using index's and that's the differance?

Good point. Were looking at a pretty rough game though:confused:(-.55)

Honestly speaking I dont care. 1:5 sounds good:)

Maybe sage and his sims can shed some light. Perhaps a 1:6 as well

Sage the -.499 is incorrect. Make sure LS or RSA isnt checked. Close enough though..lol It sounds like you had DAS checked to get -.37

$25,000 is the lowest I would go with for bankroll if you are spreading 1 to 10. But I think 1 to 5 is more realistic and that would make $25,000 more than ample. In fact half that amount would work if you follow the rule of thumb of 100 times your max bet.
