How popular are these auto shufflers becoming.. and how long do you think until all the casinos are using these for blackjack? Obviously they make it impossible to card count, so once they are used everywhere, will card counting die? Or will the shufflers die out, because I've heard they can...

I've just found out today that in the film they DO show card counting as High Cards +1, Low Cards -1 and to RAISE your bet when the count is HIGH. Outrageous, but also very good for the casinos !!:laugh: :laugh:

If anyone has been to Las Vegas, Reno etc, and would care to comment on anything they found particulally bad, or good, about certain hotels, casinos, resturants..etc. As I see it, it's the card counters vs the casinos, so lets stick together. The casinos do it, so should we.

If anyone has read the book breaking Vega$, or bringing down the house by Ben Mezerick, then do you know if what they did was illegal? Because they managed to get comp cards without using their real names, so if they used fake |ID, is that illegal..(if they got found out) ?? Thanks:rolleyes:

I hope that card counting never dies, but realistically I think that in the end the casinos will all be using automatic shufflers, or maybe something even more advanced that gives them even more of an edge. But don't worry, card counting will probably out-live you, so you can keep on making...

this is a great way to think. This way, if you lose you're not dissapointed, but if you win you feel like you have a bonus. Always expect the worst, that way nothing can get you down.

So it's perfectly legal to tell the casinos a fake name. What if you are staying at that hotel? Can you still book in under a fake name. Basically, i just want to know what is illegal and legal when it comes to fake names/ addresses etc. Reply if you can be bothered :grin: :grin:
