    no limit private game

Thank you, folks Good advice. Thanks. I'll take the test run with these things in mind. If they're better than me and friendly, I'll learn from them. If they're better than me and not, they'll make $ from me. If I'm better than them......:)

    no limit private game

I've been invited to a private home game no limit session with a co-worker who is not a super close friend and I'm wondering how much I should worry about collusion between other players, and what I can watch out for or do to prevent/counterattack it. They do their home games tourney style not...

    Does BS change

The Rule of 45 works due to the fact that when you see a 4 or 5 already making up your own hand, you've burned those cards from the potential cards you will draw from the deck. Since a 4 or 5 are the best cards you could hope for when holding a 16, losing even 1 or 2 of them from play hurts...

Playing against the dealer 1 on 1 vs playing in a group

Hand Interaction more players means more opportunities for the Hand Interactions according to Renzey's BJBBII. How many AP regulars are taking advantage of buying other player's hands or filling in doubles, etc?

POLL: What card counting system do you use?

KO vs. KISS Has there been a debate yet between users of KO and KISS on this forum? I happened to have purchased both KO Blackjack and Blackjack Bluebook II at the same time, and so now am torn between which system to focus on. Both books seem to show a lot of thorough research and...

    When it works...

yeah but... ....time is money, though. There's a big difference between stopping by a casino for an hour or two after work and planning an entire day-trip. As a recreational player who enjoys playing, one can also justify a smaller $/hour profit as "paying for entertainment". I can't...

true count conversions I think I could practice and get deck estimation allright, although admittedly I haven't tried. My trouble with it was trying to get the division down for the True count conversions. I guess you memorize the more common fraction>percentage conversions? I just can't...

Tourney play Bees, how about a run down of the main points of difference with tournament play? Maybe a reader's digest condensed version of the basic How It Works and then any examples you may be able to give about how you're playing/betting technique would vary compared to regular cash...

livin in the PHX Here's a neat little trick to figuring out the neigborhood in an unfamiliar city: Go to the grocery stores in an area and check them out. In Phoenix, if all you find are tiny independents and Food City's, then it may not be the best area. If you find an AJ's Fine Foods or...

    When it works...

it's ALWAYS luck/SD This is the truth. It's all about understanding that SD. If Rukus (or anyone) thinks that luck is not involved at ALL TIMES then they'd better go back and relook at their 1-2% advantage and think about what that really means. Being AP does include finding and...
