I not really sure if keeping you up a night is good for you, but many of us blackjack players are really passonate about the game. It almost as if I can only go a few weeks without going to the casino and getting my blackjack fix.

Definitely a fascinating game

If you become able to play at an advantage, and spend all your sleepless nights playing blackjack, then that might be good. :)

I think anything that is new to someone and they get all riled up and excited about it, can keep someone up at night. That is probably what punter is experiencing. It is just temporary.

When i have went on blackjack "binges" (20+ hours of play in a few days). I start counting everything unconciously... cars that go by start having a running count 17,18,17,16,15,16. When I close my eyes to sleep the same thing will happen. It usually goes away after a day or so.

Sometimes on the way home from the casino I find myself repeating the count over and over in my mind. I'm like -3,-3,-3,-3, oh wait I'm not playing anymore!

Haha, Im relieved to hear you keep count afterwards.. i thought I was going crazy. Even after the deck has been shuffled and put away, and I'm in the bathroom or restaurant and say -7 -7 -7 in my head 20 minutes later.
