Exactly. There are no stupid questions, nor stupid questioneers. But there are stupid statements, and that certainly qualifies as one.Or do you believe misinformation such as the casino can ban you for not allowing them to scan your DL should be left unchallenged?
This poster appeared here several months ago with a whacked out story about how you can get a free cruise with minimal play.I asked him about it and he went into great detail about what you got for what amounted to almost no play.Being interested,I called the cruise line and got a completely different story. I called back and spoke to a gambling host and while the information was slightly different that the first person I spoke to,it was still several times more than the poster indicated.More misinformation.
Next,in this very thread, the poster indicates that it is his belief that due to improved card tracking, that casinos won't comp penny slot players. It may be an opinion, but it is wrong. Harrahs Platinum and Diamond Lounges are full of penny slot players.
No hard feeling, friend. Hope you enjoy the postings here as much as I do.

Regards, John

Shadroch, this one is for you

Check out the NCL Spirit which is doing many 1 night cruise to nowhere out of NYC. If the casino comps are anywhere like Star Cruises ( parent company of NCL) you would have hit the comp jackpot.

Shadroch, since I have some free time I have dugged up my old posting shown above. Looks to me your assertion is without merit.

I'm fine with you saying you disagree with someone. But just say that they are wrong, you don't have to pile on and say it's so ridiculous as to be laughable. Doesn't that sound excessive to you?

I called the 800 or 888 number for the cruises you talked up out of Singapore.Thats the cruise I am referring to,but I think you knew that.

No I don't. What 800 or 888 number. I haven't heard of any such line.
The casino department line is only open to casino members.

My posting on April 5

Where I play the casino has install a small screen at the table for the Pit Boss. When you hand over your players card he will swipe it on his machine and your photo will appear on the screen. When you go to the restroom he will tap on your photo once. This will put you in the pause mode. If you want to stop playing he will tap your photo twice and you are clocked out.
In the high roller room the Pit Boss still evaulate you manually by inputing the numbers of times over the minimum tables points. Which as you can see could be very large 10, 100 or 1000 times.

Shadroch, you see what I posted and what you said I posted. Where did I say "that casinos won't comp penny slot players".
Shadroch, give yourself a break.

Looks like the slots machines must have some alert mechanism for heavy hitters. So I dont think all slot players are treated equally. And the penny slot players are not likely to get much Comps with the smart slot machines nowadays.

Shadroch, there you go again.

This was my posting on April 3 and I said.

I did not say " that casinos don't comp penny slot players"

How can you go on accusing me of many misinformation and do it youself all the time.

Yes that is my point, even when you are right and someone is wrong be humble. There is no need to go overboard.

If he was some spammer or someone who was trying to pass on some sort of progression I would say different.

Now look whats happened because you took it too far. Mr. T now wants to defend himself and you're trying to argue back so half this topic is wasted arguing and is pointless for everyone else. People should treat others on the forum as they would face to face and try to discuss things like adults seeing how you're supposed to be one to play BJ in a casino!
