I dont think I've seen it.
That blurb is funny, his name is spelt Mezrich, not Mizrich. And I didn't think he was actually involved in the card counting directly.
A card counting movie that I have seen which follows almost exactly the same story, so much so that I hope Mezrich got royalties, or he should sue, is a Canadian movie called The Last Casino.
As I said, it follows the same basic story: college kids get recruited by a crusty old counter(a professor at college), and they start counting. I think it was made for TV, and I saw it on Austar(pay tv) a few weeks ago.
I thought it was pretty good, although I had extra interest because of the topic I suppose, and the lead girl is quite nice to look at
Funniest scene would have to be what the Asian kid does when they're in the private high-stakes game. If you've seen it, you'll know what I mean.
Its definitely worth seeing if its on pay TV again, or going out and renting it if you can find it.
