Although I didn't and haven't had the pleasure of knowing either of these gentlemen, as a student of the game of blackjack I take offense to your comments. Thorpe was and is a great mathematician. His interest in blackjack and published findings are probably either directly or indirectly responsible for for everything that came after. Comparing yourself favorably to Revere, even with his many faults, is a joke! There are members here who knew and trained under/with Revere and I would think they take offense as well, when a half-wit preaching voodoo tactics like a stop limit, and making ridiculous claims disrespects such a player.
Just to point out one of your many inaccuracies, initially you stated that you made your first 2 trips (60) sessions and won all 60 using only basics stratedgy. You then stated that you learned to count and made 10 more trips winning all 300 sessions.
Later you state that you learned to count, studying for 3 years before making any trips.
Studying for 3 years with no job, no family to take care of, no wife and yet you "immersed" yourself in blackjack studies only 2 hours per week.
If I had to guess, I would guess you were incarcerated at the time, which would explain all of this and with prison libraries out of date, would also explain how a 20 year old's first contact with card counting comes through a 40 year old book.
I suppose this post crosses the line a bit, but I am going to leave it and let management make that decision.
