In Vegas alone and afraid

#23
Back in my home state alive and well. I found a game down here in going to be beating the heck out of. I have a place to stay now, a safe place. I'm writting this from a casino right now because, well, my ride home went MIA. Lol. Still so happy to be alive, home and well.
Shit could have really hit the fan up there. I would like to thank you KewlJ for extending your hand to me when I needed it most and the other member who I should thank privately. I hope your health recovers soon.

in another thread you stated (my words) that you had essentially reached ruin (https://www.blackjackinfo.com/community/threads/im-so-discouraged.55701/#post-493563).
it's a good thing to understand your complete financial position and risk of ruin if your going to play blackjack or make any kind of bets.
point being, if you are at a state of ruin, you shouldn't be taking chances in casinos.

It appears he is not only in a state of ruin, he is in a state of desperation and personal confusion. All of this is recipe for a disaster.

Casinos are formidable opponents even when financially and psychologically well prepared for the battles. As I noted in a previous post, the original poster should get away from casinos, get an education and do something useful with his life. Assuming that the posts are true, this is heading downhill quickly, and I sadly predict a bad ending if he is not able to get away from the casino environment.

I know I am in a state of confusion concerning this thread/poster. o_O I guess I mistakenly thought this poster was desperate and in a very bad way.

I don't know why I would have "jumped' to that conclusion? Maybe the thread titled : In vegas alone and afraid. Maybe it was the first line "No friends, no family, limited funds". Or maybe it was the part where he said he was out of options and couldn't go home, or the part where he was sleeping in a booth inside a casino. I was prepared to do whatever I needed to, to help this person.

But now he is home....that home he couldn't return to, having lost 10% of his money. THAT was the big crisis? o_O

Hey you know what, I am glad it worked out or this person. I am glad whatever crisis he was in or thought he was in is over, and I wish him nothing but the best. :) But I still am a bit confused about the whole thing. And that is ok...I go through much of life confused about things. ;)

Back in Vegas, scared as hell. No, this is not a joke. I got tricked in to going back to ........ They were going to arrest me. A fiend tipped me off. I have even less money than I did the first time, only 1,000. My money it's locked in a bank in another state for the time being. I might be able to get it out. PLEASE VISIT ME even if it's just too say hi. It's nice to know someone cares. I'm so duckIng scared. All I have are the clothes on my back and 1000 cash. Thinking of just waiting in the plain station until I can catch a cab to the homeless shelter in the morning.

This story is starting to become a little ridiculous. I don't think you'll get much sympathy here for drug dealers, or anyone who would want to meet up with you. I think back to a post made about "helping" someone in San Diego. What was the point of that?

Look I lied I'm not telling youawhy I'm in Nevada other than I need to be here. Everyone keeps asking me so I'm just funneling bull shot. Thurs is literally the third time or more I got a a
Question like this an no one obviously respects the fact that I don't want to answer because they keep asking so look if you don't care just dint comment. I will figure this out or not. Or comment I guess because it is a public forum now that I think about it lol

OK let me reword this: 1000 dollars, in Vegas. What next?
The post about helping someone in SD was when I had a home and now knowledge of BJ than that person so I offered to help him and see is it went anywhere.

Do you still want to become a blackjack dealer, but can't afford dealer school? Many of the Indian casinos will train dealers how to deal blackjack. At one time I believe they even paid you while in training. I don't know if this is true anymore.

I know of one Indian casino that is always hiring. I believe you only have to be 18 to deal blackjack at the casino I'm thinking of. Bring your winter coat and some snow boots and head to the north woods.

I will agree with LVBear that there are better jobs out there than casinos, but college is expensive with no money.
However, you have to be squeaky clean to work any job in a casino. If you are into drugs forget it. They can do random drug tests at anytime.

I think your original plan to become a blackjack dealer was a sound one, so you should go back to that. Don't sell drugs, that is against the law.

What's the name of the Indian casino you were thinking of? My record is clean too. I have never been charged with anything. Even a mistemeanor.
On a side note, it's very hard to sleep. I can't seem to get a motel because they're all 21 plus and the one I did find that was 18 plus traitors a credit card for a security deposit. I know of a good place I can sleep but I'm worried about getting the only money I have stolen.

How is your record clean if there is an arrest warrant out for you for selling and distributing drugs? Your story is jumping all over the place and not making any sense. LvBear and a couple other seemed to recognize that immediately. I guess I was slow and gullible.

You don't have to be 21 to rent a motel room. I am not even sure you have to be 18? Most places do require a credit card for deposit, but the lower end motels, and there are plenty of them in vegas will take a cash deposit.

I don't know where this is going, or what you will come up with next, but you aren't going to get hired as a dealer or any job in a casino (even house keeping) with what you have told us. And a fake ID isn't going to cut it either....not for a job in a casino.

Agree with this. Your record is not clean if you have an arrest warrant out for you.
