In Vegas alone and afraid

#41
Motel 6 and one other one I tried wouldn't take anyone under 21 and the other one required a security deposit by credit card which I disabled before I got here. It's hard to sleep anywhere. For now I applied for a job at both motels I tried checking in to.
For once it seemed like I got a bit of hours luck though, while I was going out an application at one of the motels I ran in to someone I knew from high school and he worked there. I'm going to go on today and hopefully land a job as house keeping or anything for that matter

I did end up sleeping at the casino last night because I had to. That would have been my second consecutive night without sleep. Guys, This is hard. I'm watching my life collapse before my eyes. The money I worked so hard for quickly trickling to 0. I always wanted 10k in liquid cash and I got damn close but now It''so just a distant dream. Everyone I love is gone. I miss my Mom. My Mom is my best friend, my "ride or die. " We loved each other more than "the rainbows and the skies" since ever since I can remember and now AI can't even hear her voice.

Well at least you got some sleep. What is on the agenda today? Maybe you could become a dishwasher in a restaurant, that is an easy job to get most of the time.

This story is starting to become a little ridiculous. I don't think you'll get much sympathy here for drug dealers, or anyone who would want to meet up with you.
Depends: What kind of drugs... and are any left?

It's funny you mentioned the dishwasher thing because I did apply as a dishwasher at one place today. Might go back to in about 6 months. I was told there was a warrant but I have been unable to find one online.
I wish I chills text more but battery life is now a predhious commodity.
In a model right now. Got good sleep. About to see if the guy who bought me the room is about to run off with my security deposit.
My Mom defaulted on her 1000 dollar debt with me. She called me crying from a prison cell so I bailed her out. She can't pay me back but she was able to give her boyfriend 800 dollars in three days for his impounded car. Eventhough he owns a home, is renting 4 bedrooms out for 500 a month and works a full nine to five. If I never got in to this mess I wiuld have 8200 dollars cash, liquid, now I have a little over 6000 bedside my mom defaulted.

To be fair she did give you life. I mean, what is a lousy thousand dollars bucks when compared to the miracle that is existence?

I'm not trying to be mean, but this is now a forlorn soap opera, nothing to do with blackjack anymore. This guy won't be in a position to contribute anything useful here for a long time, probably never. Good luck and adieu.

Haha yeah, you're right. I think I could still contrIbute though. I know of a few hidden jEms. Like the DD game with 70 to 80 cards dealt out before the shufdlw and the abikuty to break the game and reshuffke whwnevwr you want without telling boss. Just say "break it"

Most Calif warrants are NOT extraditable in NV...
...BUT you will be denied a work card where required.

6k? You got a shot here, but you'll need some IDs.
Max bets not to exceed 1x35 or 2x25

Do you know that 6k is down from 10k about 36 hours ago....or so he says. I am not wishing anything but the best for young "splittingten's", but with all the evolution to this story, I have taken the LvBear position of skeptical of the whole thing.

10k would have been enough BR to play low limit BJ and maybe make a little money in las vegas and maybe even score a few comped rooms on weeknights. Pretty hard to do without a steady place to lay your head, not to mention the threat of robbery when you start combining AP play and homelessness. Not a healthy combination.

However, Zg, with this situation and what you know of it, it is pretty irresponsible for you to even suggest that now. Sure it's just entertainment to you. But if splittingten's is really in the situation he describes, it is survival to him.

If I was going to combine homelessness with low limit blackjack play, and I am not recommending this to split10's or anyone else, but if I was going to, I would buy a monthly bus pass. That would provide transportation to some of the local casinos with better low limit games and provide a place to nap for an hour or so at a time. Has anyone ever been on the deuce at 3am? It sort of doubles as a homeless shelter.

NOW you're talking!
He needs IDs to eat comp, and rooms maybe at WildWest and Lucky Club.

And get one of those coupon books with all the match plays. I mean with 6k you should be able to rent a cheap room somewhere for like $300 and just grind out whatever $5 games you can find. Don't tell them you are a professional gambler though, landlords hate hearing that. Get a part time job as a dishwasher so you can truthfully tell them you wash dishes.

Zg are you still in vegas, living in that "hippie" commune community? Don't you guys have room for one more? :p

Siegel suites is not $500 a month. They have increased dramatically over the past couple years. Best you can find is like $159/week for a studio now. And there is 'creative' additional taxes involves. Sales tax for first 30 days as per Nevada law and other add ons. You are looking like $800 for the first month. And for that you get a pretty undesirable and unsafe environment.
