Is Online BlackJack Worth playing?

Hi All,

I am a noobie to BJ so I appologize if my question is out of place.

If I play online classic black jack gold series(1 deck) online, is it possible to ever win in the long run?

The reason I ask this is if i look at a house edge of 0.13 if i am playing optimal black jack i still will never come out on top.

So I should now employ a betting strategy based on how good or bad my hand is.

But with online black jack after each hand the deck is shuffled and I can only place a bet before any cards are dealt.

So how can I employ a betting strategy?

I am missing something regarding online blackjack or is it impossible to win?

1) No, your expected value is negative because online casinos shuffle the deck or shoe after every hand.
2) You cannot employ a betting strategy because each hand is the first hand of the deck or shoe.
3) You are not missing anything. You can win playing online blackjack, but you cannot expect to win (in the long run).

You can win at blackjack by using online casino promotions. It`s the only way to come out ahead.
Many casino`s will give you a 100% bonus which requires a certain amount of wagering to cash it out. If you play perfect basic strategy-and small bets, you can wager most of them out with a good profit.
I have made over £5000 this way. The important thing is to calculate if you have a plus EV in the wagering requirement.
