You have to assume that every casino type that wishes to can pour over this public site. Sometime back when I was talking about a Vegas trip on the board and talking about the difficulty in getting rooms during the period of time, I got a PM from someone saying, "I am a Caesar's employee and can maybe help you out if you have a Total Rewards card, simply give me your name and card no. and I can see what I can do about getting you accommodations for your Vegas trip, etc."

Needless to say, I did not take them up on this gracious offer. I think I still have that message saved! I should put the name out here so people can see who it was... one down, 356 to go though. COUNT on there being lots of casino people lurking about here. Hell, I heard a rumor that Bojack is actually Gary Loveman!(Just kidding)...

Watch what you say, watch your associations, be careful... just common sense stuff (unless your identity being revealed is not an issue, of course).

Actually if that's a host they might actually be able to get you a room. Guess who gets in trouble when you get nailed as an AP? Not the host lol. And up until you get nailed they get credit for your play when they bring you in.

The guy might not be out to get you. If he's really in marketing he's probably just looking for players, if you're screwing the house that's not his problem. Most marketing folk have no idea what the hell advantage play actually is.

Not saying it's wise to respond to that message, but it's not necessarily a trap either.

honestly if any "counter" is dumb enough to reply to that message then they're probably the type of person the casino wants in their doors.

Ha, well, the sad thing is many times my girlfriend wants me to stop but only when I'm DOWN!! The worst time! I have to not only deal with the neg. var. but I also have to deal with her neg. nonsense!!:eek: It's a double whammie.
