I wonder if a psychic ability could help you in the game of blackjack? Obviously they can't win the lottery and stuff like that. But with blackjack, you are dealing with someone else's mind, the dealer's. And that's where a psychic would come in. Let's say the dealer takes a peek at the hole card, if you have psychic ability you might be able to tell his thoughts. I know this sounds crazy... but you can learn how to be a psychic even when you're not born with the natural ability. I've often thought of buying a book on amazon myself.

So you don't believe in their ability at all? Ever watched "Psychic Detectives" on CourtTV? They solve cold cases. They interview the actual police, detectives, FBI on the show and they all say it's true. They were non believers just like us until the psychic solved the case.

I once watched a doco on Yogic-flying.
I was waiting to see all these Yogis flap their arms and take off, but in the end all they did was sit there in the lotus position meditating, then hop forwards. I was awe-struck. I haven't been the same since.

When the dealer peaks under an Ace or a ten, he knows only if he has a Blackjack or not. If not, he doesn't know the value of the card.

In Blackbelt in Blackjack Snyder wrote about how a reader sent him a letter saying something like this:
I met someone who is psychic and says they can win a lot of money at blackjack, they want me to invest, should I?

Snyder's answer was if they are really psychic why would they need you to invest money? All they would need is $100 and they'd be making millions shortly.

Sorry mate, a couple of Grays came down and tried to give ET an anal probe, so he killed one with his lightsabre and then the other Gray killed ET with his death ray and took both our lightsabres. I didnt want to mess with that death ray.

Actually, you might want to spend that energy looking for dealer tells when they look at their hole card instead of trying to determine things psychically.
Their physical reactions are much more reliable if you an find one who has a tell.:cool2:
