Sweat Levels at Treasure Island and Stratosphere

#1
These two places appear to offer some of the best $25 double deck on the strip but how sweaty are they? I've read Treasure Island double deck can be sweaty does anyone have tips on cover for them? Will a more conservative spread help with longevity?

I've not read much about Stratosphere any advice?

No experience with Stratosphere, but TI is ridiculously sweaty. You won't last 15 minutes there, so just bomb away with huge spreads.

I guess I'll just use my tourist status to seem more like a good times gambler while going aggressive on the spread and deviations. Hopefully that will buy me a little extra time for a few more hot hands.

How do they do it? I imagine it's civil and they just ask you to leave but security will be close by? I've never received anything close to sweat or a back off in my neck of the woods. In a weird way I kind of want to experience it just once for validation.

Backoffs are usually civilized, but it is impossible to predict how casino employees, especially security guards, will behave. People have been seriously injured, shot at, even killed by these thugs. You need to read the Guide to Minimizing Risk of Personal Injury During Casino Backoffs and Barrings

I'm of the school of thought that the less memorable you are to them during this experience the better your odds are to be able to return sometime in the future. I wonder is there any purpose to at least pretending like you are offended and don't know what they are talking about in regards to advantaged play? Is reversing a backoff a decision ever a thing? I wouldn't think so. I would just get out as quick as possible and then comeback a year later with or without a beard depending on how I was shaved when I was first there.

Don't pretend anything. Don't say anything. Just get safely out of there. Period.

The rules for their $25 games I've seen online seem to be the best. s17 das. I guess if you have a bank roll for black chips you can find similar rules elsewhere but for a green chipper these look to be like some ideal games. NYNY, Tropicana & Exalibur seem like another part of the strip to hit up with green chips from my scouting table rules and minimums online.

TI appears to offer $25 s17 6 deck as well. MGM Grand seems to be another option for that but the rest of the strip appears to be h17.

From a green chipper's perspective TI seems like a paradise.

I don't have time to update them right now. However, most of the linked articles and many other relevant ones can also be found at LINKS TO MEDIA COVERAGE OF CASINO ABUSE OF PATRONS
Some interesting stories but due to the nature of them being mostly court settlements it makes it almost attractive to be roughed up and back roomed. $500K for being cuffed for 5 hours doesn't seem too bad.

I get that once asked to leave you should just head for the door not the cage but how should one go about getting chips cashed in later if travelling solo? If things are completely civil is going to the cage before leaving fine?

What about exchanging chips for cash?
You could try cashing them on a different shift or get a friend to cash them for you.
Depending on how often you visit Las Vegas, you could take the chips back home with you and cash them next time you are in town.
I had no problems cashing chips at the Stratosphere on a different shift after experiencing heat last time i was there although it was only just under 2k

TI sucks. Decent game, no vibe in HL area....like a a morgue. I played 1/2 hr, picked up a few bucks and left. Strat can be fun and will want you to win if you act like a tourist. Play the part and you'll be okay.

Thanks for the tips. I'm a green chipper so I won't be hanging in the HL unless they offer $25 a hand there. I'm willing to go to $50 for a s17 das double deck though.

I’ve played at both Stratosphere and T.I. I got backed off at Stratosphere in the middle of my second DD shuffle. T.I. backed me off in 5 min. Those two casinos are ultra sweaty.

Man. Vegas sounds wretched. How many would you say are ultra sweaty, sweaty, sweet, and ultra sweet?

I was in vegas in april
I played at ti 3 times unrated
The first two i played their dd outside of the high limit pit (h17)
I lost both times spreading 50-300 and the second time had a pit hawking me
The third time was my last night there
I played dd in the high limit pit (s17)
playd for about half an hour
the next to last "shoe" the count was very good and i max bet the last 5 or so hands
I won the last hand so i just left the max out after the shuffle
Small cards came out and i won that hand too
The count got to +8-10 (i forget exactly) so just left it out for the entire "shoe"
This was in the early morning and i was the only one in high limit but really didn't care if i got kicked out as it was my last day
The pit answered the phone and kept saying things like "yes" and "i understand"
When it was over i was up about 3500 and left assuming he was talking about me.

I tried playing at the strat but they wouldn't allow me to play double deck without a players card

If you want ultra sweaty go to sls

I played about a half an hour one night, never got that good of a count so didn't even fully spread
Went there on a different shift a week later and got backed off in less than ten mins having never raised my bets

They also call to surveillance "player on double deck no card"
Pathetic.

CBJN is helpful as a guide but you need to do your own leg work.

For example i played at a 25 double deck in a dump casino.Their were 2 of these games ,the rest of them were 5 dollar mins.
One dealer was dealing out 40 pct tops (as in putting the cut card BEFORE 60 pct of the cards)
Obviously I didn't play this dealer
The other dealer was dealing about 3/4th of the cards
I was tipping him small and a few times if i lose a few hands in a row he would ask me if i wanted him to shuffle! This was amazing.
I played there for about an hour and had a really big win by their standards. I had planned on going back on a different shift but decided this win would probably be reviewed and it was best to avoid going back.

I also got backed off at the rio. I wasn't planning on playing long but some obviously new dealer was cutting off ten cards or less. She tapped in when i was about to leave so i decided to stay for her entire down . I got backed off about 40 mins later while she was still dealing.Despite the amazing pen i lost with her. Nature of the beast.
