Our Full Ozoon Review

Ozoon is the casino, sportsbook and poker brand that Bodog’s Canadian operation relaunched under in February 2026. If you had a Bodog account, it is now an Ozoon account: the same login works, the balance carried over, and the games behind it are the ones Bodog players already knew. What changed is the name on the door, the licence it operates under, and the company that answers for it. This review covers what Ozoon is today, who runs it, and the things a Canadian player should check before depositing.

Because Ozoon is only a few weeks old as a brand, we have rated it on the operation it inherited rather than a long track record of its own. Treat the score as provisional: it reflects Bodog’s established platform and banking, tempered by a brand-new name and a light-touch offshore licence. We will revisit it as Ozoon builds its own history.

What happened to Bodog

Bodog was one of the longest-running names in offshore gambling. Founded by Calvin Ayre in the late 1990s and live as a sportsbook from 2000, it spent nearly three decades serving players outside the regulated markets. In February 2026 the owner of the Bodog brand decided not to renew it with its gaming operators. The Canadian site went into overnight maintenance and reopened as Ozoon, with the company describing the change as “an opportunity to relaunch under a different brand name.”

The practical effect for players was small. Accounts and balances migrated to ozoon.eu, and existing customers sign in with their old Bodog credentials. Two threads split off from the rebrand: Bodog Poker’s Latin American players were moved to Ignition Poker, carrying over their funds, payment methods and bonuses, while the Bodog name continues in the United States as Bovada. The rebrand also followed real regulatory pressure. A Manitoba court had issued a permanent injunction ordering Bodog to stop advertising and to block players in the province, on the grounds that it held no local operating licence, and Ozoon withdrew from Manitoba as part of the move.

Who runs Ozoon, and under what licence

Ozoon’s terms name the operating company as Rocketship Ventures S.R.L., a Costa Rica company (registration 3-102-921894). The site is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission under licence number 0000067. The Tobique Gaming Commission is the gaming authority of the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada, and it regulates Ozoon under its own code of practice, anti-money-laundering rules and 2023 Gaming Act. Players in New Brunswick are served instead by Caravan Media B.V., a Curacao company licensed by the Curacao Gaming Authority (licence OGL/2024/674/0714).

Be clear-eyed about what that means. A First Nations or Curacao licence is a real licence, but it is a light-touch offshore framework rather than a top-tier regulator such as the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority. Independent dispute resolution and player-protection guarantees are lighter than they would be at a UK or Malta-licensed casino. Ozoon is, in Canadian regulatory terms, a grey-market operator: legal to reach, but outside the provincial licensing systems that cover sites like those run by provincial lottery corporations.

The welcome bonuses

Ozoon splits its welcome offer across its three products. The casino package advertises up to $3,500 in bonuses plus 400 free spins; the sportsbook offers up to $400 plus 50 free spins; and the poker room offers up to $1,000. The amounts depend on your deposits and are shown in full in the bonus section on this page.

The wagering is set out in the general terms (section 7.8): casino bonus funds must be played through 30 times, sportsbook and racebook bonuses 12 times, and poker follows a 3:1 clearing ratio before bonus funds and their winnings can be withdrawn. No-deposit bonuses carry a cap on what you can cash out: under $100 the maximum is $125, and over $100 the maximum is one times the bonus. One caution for blackjack players in particular: Ozoon’s published general terms set the playthrough multiplier but do not spell out how much each game contributes toward it. Until the operator publishes a game-weighting table, assume table games and blackjack contribute little or nothing to a casino bonus, as they do at almost every casino, and clear bonuses on slots.

Games and banking

Ozoon runs the full three-product spread it inherited from Bodog: a sportsbook and racebook, an online casino with slots, roulette and blackjack, and a poker room. The site does not publish a list of its game studios, so we are not naming providers we cannot verify; if you are chasing a specific supplier’s tables, check the lobby before you deposit.

The sportsbook and the poker room are the parts of the business with the longest pedigree. Bodog built its name on sports betting from 2000 onward, and the poker room was a fixture of the North American online game for years; both carried straight over into Ozoon rather than being rebuilt. For a casino-first player the draw is the same crypto-friendly, single-wallet setup that lets you move between sports, tables and poker without juggling separate accounts. What you will not find is the kind of documented, provider-by-provider casino lobby that a Malta-licensed site publishes, so judge the games on what you see in the client.

Expect standard identity checks. Like any offshore operator, Ozoon can ask you to verify your identity before it releases a withdrawal, so it pays to complete verification early and to fund your account with a method you can also cash out to. If you deposit with crypto, remember that those transactions are effectively final, and keep your own record of deposits and bonus opt-ins.

Banking leans on the two things Canadian offshore players use most. Interac covers everyday Canadian-dollar deposits and cashouts, and a broad set of cryptocurrencies is supported: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, Tether (USDT) and Litecoin. The company markets fast withdrawals, but we do not publish a payout-speed figure we have not measured, so treat the marketing claim as a claim.

Two account rules are worth knowing before you park money on the site. Under section 2.8 of the terms, an account with no deposit, withdrawal or bet for eighteen months is treated as dormant, and after five years of inactivity it is deemed abandoned and any remaining balance is forfeited, less an administrative fee, to the Gaming Commission. If you stop playing, withdraw your balance rather than leaving it to sit.

Ozoon carries the full site into a phone browser, with a Download App option in the main menu. Here is the homepage, casino lobby and welcome-bonus page on mobile:

  • Are comfortable with an established offshore platform

Cherchez ailleurs si vous :

  • Plan to clear a casino bonus on blackjack or table games

Les clauses en petits caractères

Every online casino's terms and conditions decide what you can actually win, wager, and withdraw, and most players never read them before depositing. Below is our breakdown of Ozoon's own published rules: the clauses that matter most to your money, each graded for how player-friendly it is, with the rule number so you can verify it yourself.

  • Regarder Casino bonus funds must be wagered 30 times before withdrawal (sports bonuses 12x, poker a 3:1 clearing ratio). Rule 7.8
  • Contre toi No-deposit bonus winnings are capped: maximum cashout $125 on bonuses under $100, or 1x the bonus on those over $100. Rule 7.8
  • Regarder An account with no deposit, withdrawal or bet for 18 months is classed as dormant. Rule 2.8
  • Contre toi After 5 years of inactivity an account is "abandoned" and any remaining balance is forfeited, less a fee, to the Gaming Commission. Rule 2.8
  • Regarder Licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission (a First Nation regulator in New Brunswick), a light-touch offshore framework rather than a top-tier regulator. Rule 1.1
  • Regarder Players in New Brunswick are served by a separate Curacao-licensed company (Caravan Media B.V.), not the main licensee. Rule 2.12

Checked 2 September 2026. Terms change and this summary is not a substitute for the source: always read the casino's full, current terms and conditions before you deposit or play.

Verdict

Ozoon is not a new casino so much as a new name on a very old one. For the Bodog players it inherited, it is business as usual: the same account, the same crypto-and-Interac banking, the same three products under one roof. The honest caveats are the ones that always applied to Bodog. This is an offshore, grey-market brand under a light-touch licence, its game library is not documented publicly, and its bonus terms leave game weighting unstated. If you valued Bodog for fast crypto payouts and a familiar book, Ozoon is the continuation of that. If you were looking for the protections of a mainstream regulator, it is not, and never claimed to be.

Ozoon FAQ

Is Ozoon the same as Bodog?

Yes. Ozoon is the brand that Bodog’s Canadian operation relaunched under in February 2026. Bodog accounts and balances migrated to Ozoon, and existing players sign in with their old Bodog login. The Bodog name continues in the United States as Bovada, and Bodog Poker’s Latin American players were moved to Ignition Poker. In Canada, Bodog is now Ozoon.

Who operates Ozoon and is it licensed?

Ozoon is operated by Rocketship Ventures S.R.L., a Costa Rica company, and is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission (licence 0000067), the gaming authority of the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada. Players in New Brunswick are served instead by a Curacao-licensed company, Caravan Media B.V. These are genuine licences but light-touch offshore frameworks, not top-tier regulators like the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority, so player protections are lighter.

What is the Ozoon welcome bonus and its wagering?

Ozoon advertises up to $3,500 plus 400 free spins on casino, up to $400 plus 50 free spins on sports, and up to $1,000 on poker. Under the general terms (section 7.8) casino bonus funds must be wagered 30 times, sports bonuses 12 times, and poker follows a 3:1 clearing ratio before you can withdraw. No-deposit bonuses are capped: a maximum cashout of $125 on bonuses under $100, or one times the bonus over $100. The exact amount depends on your deposit and is shown in the bonus section on this page.

Can I clear an Ozoon casino bonus playing blackjack?

Ozoon’s published general terms set the 30x casino wagering multiplier but do not include a table showing how much each game contributes toward it. As at almost every casino, you should assume blackjack and other table games count little or nothing toward a casino bonus and clear it on slots instead. Until Ozoon publishes a game-weighting table, treat the casino bonus as slots play.

How do I deposit and withdraw at Ozoon?

Ozoon supports Interac for Canadian-dollar banking and a range of cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, Tether (USDT) and Litecoin. Expect standard identity verification before your first withdrawal, so complete it early and fund your account with a method you can also cash out to. Crypto transactions are effectively final, so double-check addresses.

What happens to my Ozoon balance if I stop playing?

Under the terms (section 2.8), an account with no deposit, withdrawal or bet for eighteen months is treated as dormant. After five years of inactivity the account is deemed abandoned and any remaining balance is forfeited, less an administrative fee, to the Gaming Commission. If you plan to stop playing, withdraw your balance rather than leaving it on the site.

Can I play at Ozoon from Manitoba?

No. Ozoon withdrew from Manitoba as part of the rebrand, after a Manitoba court ordered Bodog to stop advertising and block players in the province because it held no local operating licence. Ozoon focuses on the rest of Canada.
