    Edge?

4 decks, stay soft 17, double split aces, double down on any two cards, dealer peaks at aces and facecards. 3 to 2 blackjack payout. If I run a 1-25 spread. $1 to $25 what kind of odds do I have? high-low counting. I have an advantage at +1 true right?

People having trouble keeping up with the count

I will, I just saw some old posts about people not being able to keep up with a fast dealer. This helped me out a lot and thought I would pass it on.

The whole point of card counting...

Shouldn't it only matter what the true count is when deciding what to play? If you flip heads on a coin 27 times in a row it is still a 50/50 chance you will get a tail on the next flip.

People having trouble keeping up with the count

I found that starting your count at 10 is easier because you don't have to say "minus" or "negative" in your head. Thoughs?

Double an 11 against a ace?

My basic strategy card says to hit, but were I play they peak so I know they don't have a blackjack. Should I hit or double when they peak with a ace?

Double your bet every time you lose.

Simply double your bet every time you lose and when you win you will be ahead. For this to work there would have to be a lot of tables around with a wide range of possible betting. Your chances of losing 20 in a row is practically 0. You would need a bankrole of like 2million though.

Which card counting system and then what book?

It's not at a casino, just the local bars. A local business runs most of the blackjack tables in all the bars and splits profit I would guess. A close by city has the same rules only 6 deck. I'm not sure how this city would react to card counters. I'm curious before I revile to much...

Am I using the right basic strategy?

Here are the local rules. 1. 4 decks 2. Dealer stands on soft 17 3. Aces can be split up to 4 times and you only get one card on each ace. 4. All other equally valued cards can be split up to 4 times. 5. You can only double down when you have two cards but can double down at any value...

Which card counting system and then what book?

I play locally by these rules and want to learn locally as they don't care if you count cards. They will just cut you off if you win 800 dollars or so and would refuse play in the future if you kept on doing that. Rules: 1. 4 decks 2. Dealer stands on soft 17 3. Aces can be split up to...

Whats my advantage/disadvantage witht these rules?

I used a program I found on the net, and it said my odds were around .02% by just using basic strategy. Here are the local rules. 1. 4 decks 2. Dealer stands on soft 17 3. Aces can be split up to 4 times and you only get one card on each ace. 4. All other equally valued cards can be...
