    Wheeling Island table games dead?

re: I think PA is really killing them. There is only so much money to go around. I can remember when WV legalized table games back in 07, you couldn't find a seat. Even the CSM tables were full. Once they kill the locals, there is nobody left to play.

Re: Rivers has $5 I-Table games opened throughout the week. 8 deck. They actually keep it at $5 on Friday's, as well, until the evening hours.

    Revisit Mountaineer Casino in WV

Re: Mountaineer has never offered late surrender. Wheeling did/does, in response to the PA casinos.

Anyone having The Rivers Players' club card (pittsburgh)?

Re: Well, the PA machines always stated shuffle after every hand. That's why I was wondering if they changed it.

Anyone having The Rivers Players' club card (pittsburgh)?

re: Yeah. The Rivers has ALOT of people watchers. They tend to watch you play and strike up conversation. Before you know it, they want $25 or $50. I would just tell them I'm sorry but I don't lend money. I seriously doubt the casino could care less how you play VBJ. Isn't it still shuffle...

Anyone having The Rivers Players' club card (pittsburgh)?

re: If you're after strictly points, you should probably play the Virtual blackjack machines. They give out points at a decent rate. The rivers doesn't hardly give ANY points for table play. Rivers is pretty stingy on their comp system to start with. They do send nice promo mailers if you play...

How do you tell a dealer don't touch the chips you just place?

re: I highly doubt they are cheating. They are dealing from an 8 deck shoe /w ASM. This voodoo talk is really strange. Most of the people I've ran across there have been nothing but nice. I like it better than the Meadows. If you want REALLY strange clientel/dealers, try Greektown in Detroit...

    Table games in Pittsburgh, PA

re: I was reading the gaming commission rules. Apparently, the whole state is mandated to have S17. I haven't been to either yet, but I also heard they all have surrender, as well.

    Pa. casino test date schedule.

re: I just saw a video of them bringing in the tables to the Rivers. The tables they showed were S17.

    Ohio casino laws

re: I'm sorry your sad because I don't do something that you enjoy. Personally, I've seen what it can do to you if taken outside of moderation and choose not to go down that path. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. I have no issue with alcohol and don't "feel sad" for people who drink.

    Ohio casino laws

re: Well, I don't drink and have no desire nor the time/money to travel all over the country to find a Blackjack game. My initial point was they are just following state law. Why give casinos an exemption? That puts bars at a distinct disadvantage.

    Ohio casino laws

re: I'm sorry but I think the no smoking thing is great. It's horrible to have to breathe bad air. I'm not aware of many casinos that I've visited that comp alcohol. WV doesn't. The PA casinos don't. Seneca Allegheny does. The Detroit casinos don't. I think it'll be a positive, as I don't drink...

    Harrah’s Debuts Online Casino

Actually, before the UIGEA passed, it was quite common to see casinos paying from US banks. Although the DOJ said it was illegal, there was no law they could use outside of the Wire Act, which applied strictly to sports books. Now they seem to be retroactively going after operators, even if they...

New Double Deck game in WV

re: They currently have 2 tables running during the week. I haven't been there during the weekend. Table limits are $5-300. For the past couple weeks, they have been open all throughout the day during the week. Cards are dealt from a shoe like a traditional shoe game. S17, DAS, Double any 2...
